Brand New Day (featuring math rock guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage of Polyphia). It's one of Babymetal's lighter songs. Beautiful vocals. Check out Monochrome. It starts off with some heavy drumming to set the stage but it turns into more of a ballad with a killer groove. Also, Shanti Shanti Shanti for a lighter Bollywood-inspired song and dance number.

I love the emotions Babymetal makes me feel 😅 there are some real good ones Ijime Dame Zettai,(No, bullying forever) their most memorable show people recommend is from Sonisphere (in the UK) from 2015. There are no subtitles for the video but great watch because the back story for the concert is that was their first concert outside Japan and most of the people did not know who they were. Another one is Rondo of Nightmare. Babymetal from 2013-2018, their lead singer SuMetal had 4 solo songs. Rondo of Nightmare, Akatsuki, No Rain No Rainbow and Amore. As for Yui and Moa their solo songs were Onedari Daisakusen, G.J, Sis Anger and song 4. Unfortunately since Yuimetal left in 2018 Last one is Road of Resistance. 2015 official video is one of the best ones, or you can try from 2023 PIA arena, that one has the eng sub. 🦊🦊 Hope this helps!

Good reaction.🦊🤘 'Karate' was the lead single for their second album (2016). It is about fighting adversity, when life knocks you down and everything seems too hard so you're hurt and crying, its about standing up and fighting on, helping each other through the hard times. They used karate to illustrate this because as a Japanese martial art it reflects their culture - as with a lot of their songs it is also about always moving forwards.

Nice reaction! Yup, they are performance based. Their live performances are what defines them. In interviews they often said, that their performances evolve with the help of the audience. The special connection between them and their audiences was there right from the beginning, and often the crowds immediatley adopted to the crowd participation cues, when a song was performed live for the first time. "Road of Resistance" would be an example of that. "Metali!" on the other hand needed a few attempts, but now it is a prime example for crowd participation 😄 Do they intend to be cute? Well it is "Kawaii Metal" after all, of course they are intentionally cute at times. Most of the time they are cute because they are cute 😆 Seriously, if you could follow their evolution by the timeline, you would see that the whole thing is build on dedication, respect, love, and joy. On both sides of the stage. I can hardly imagine entertainers in the Metal genre staying super serious, when their crowds show them true love, respect, and LOTS of joy. With every single live performance. This includes e.g. throwing plushies (after asking, if it is allowed. Via eye contact!) onto the stage. And chocolate bars! 🤣 But most of it is the crowd performing _together_ with BABYMETAL. That´s where "THE ONE" is coming from. Love and joy without cuteness is unthinkable, IMHO. I recommend to react to - Monochrome (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs next. You´ll love it as well 😉

Welcome to the foxhole! 🤘🦊🤘 Monochrome is a very emotional song about getting through tragedy and adversity and using your imagination to find hope. Although not specific to a single event (as Su has stated) one example of this would be the destruction of her home town Hiroshima at the end of WWII. There is imagery related to that in the videos. 1. Monochrome lyric video/live Pia arena. . . . then prepare to be floored by 2. Monochrome piano version on the first take channel. 3. Ijame Dame Zettai LIVE at Sonisphere 2014 UK (Official). The title means "Bullying, No More, Forever". . . Very emotional. This was their first performance outside of Asia. They were slated for a side stage but buzz online moved them up to main stage on last day. . . Most of the crowd did not know them and UK festival crowds can be notoriously hostile to new bands they dislike (even throwing bottles of urine at the stage). The girls were very worried as they were afraid nobody would show up for their slot . . or worse. They walked onstage to 50,000 confused and stoic faces. This is the final song of that set and I won't need to say more.🤘🦊🤘 Hope you are having a great (whatever holiday you observe) :) Enjoying your reactions. Thank you.

@@rexeros8825 Emo (/ˈiːmoʊ/) is a music genre characterized by emotional, often confessional lyrics. It emerged as a style of hardcore punk and post-hardcore from the mid-1980s Washington, D.C. hardcore scene, where it was known as emotional hardcore or emocore. The bands Rites of Spring and Embrace, among others, pioneered the genre. In the early-to-mid 1990s, emo was adopted and reinvented by alternative rock, indie rock, punk rock, and pop-punk bands, including Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbreaker, Cap'n Jazz, and Jimmy Eat World.
