Agreed. I don’t like two button standard sized pedals but that feature is worth putting on a second button I reckon…or at least a switch port.

I still have my original tour series Blue Note. The "select" seems to be a bit more dynamic and of course, adding the "hot switch" brings more versatility.

I would just say that Shawn is a perfect reason why all of us guitarists should "bother". He's an inspiring player, and musician. I'm more of a jazz player but having watched one of his videos a few years ago, I was hooked on his phrasing and beautiful tone- a lot of which seems very jazz influenced.

Hi Shawn. Beautiful playing as always. I`ve got this pedal and I love it. But when I look inside the pedal, I can´t see any battery clip. Is it normal for the new line of J. Rockett pedals?

Thanks so much for watching! The "Tour Series" enclosures are too small to accommodate a battery.

I´m sorry, but that is not correct. Over the years I own three J. Rockett pedals (Blue Note, Lenny and GTO) from the "Tour Series", you have tested 8 years ago. And all three have a battery clip inside. The dimension of the circuit board from the older Blue Note pedal (the one without the hot switch) and the new one, that you currently tested in this video is equal. So it is no problem to place a 9 Volt battery inside. There must be another reason, why J. Rockett produce the Blue Note V2 pedal witout a battery clip. May be J. rockett has forget to place the battery clip in my pedal? Has anybody a opinion? Thanks

The original is the Pro Series. I'm not sure if this "Tour Series" version will replace it but the "Tour Series" pedal did not have the "hot" switch.
