The perfection of Bach, played perfectly: perfection is of this world! Extrapolating a part of this magnificent interpretation, the minute 1:26, plucking the strings closer to the bridge, he creates the sound of the organ .... just great !.

Rick Lord's comment (from 4 years ago) said "Inspired Playing". Perfectly stated. Deeply inspired and transcendent. Every time I listen to Drew my appreciation of music expands. José Tomás with his 8-string guitar was awesome. However, Tomás' sitting position-bent over + guitar sometimes on right knee-prevented projection of the 8-string Ramirez. And as brilliant as Tomás was, Drew takes things to another level. Beautiful performance of Bach here.

I can't really think of any classical guitarists that do not play something by Bach. What's more interesting is as a classical player myself I can not even separate Bach from the guitar. He didn't realize how guitarists would just own his music with all the beauty and respect that it deserves. He was not exposed to what guitars can accomplish musically. He would be pleased I'm certain. Bravo sir Drew that was wonderful!

After amazing, amazinger, amazingest, there comes unique, sui generis, in a class by himself. What do you do when you run out of terms - superlatives - to express what you recognize. Most folks won't get this; he's just a guy who plays the guitar. Anyone with any acquaintance with the classical guitar, its music and history, will know that here is something what, special? both in terms of the interpretation and performance of the music, and how he does it. For much of this, he's not even looking!

The soloist and classical repertoire guitar, the guitars with many strings, more than 6 are ideal for having more notes and octaves and is better interpreted in these guitars. excellent interpretation and sound !!!!
