I almost cried when I first listened to this piece, especially the first movement doesn't sound like something from that time at all. JSBach would be so happy if he listens to this.
It sounds specifically like something from that time period.

Which arrangement is this? I have the one arranged for flute and guitar by Spiro Thomatos. There are subtle differences.

Every piano sheet I found is different from this version, the most similar score I found is off by some notes. Could you please give me this version of piano score? 🥺

It is very bad to take so much time for breathing!
@katarinateofanov2 жыл бұрын
Not really, breath is a part of the phrase as my flute teacher likes to say. Taking quick and rapid breaths in a slow movement would sound odd.
@alekseivergunov46062 жыл бұрын
@@katarinateofanov During the performance on the wind instrument, breathing should not be noticeable to the listener, otherwise it is not music, but hard work, or sport. When the rhythmic structure of a work is broken for the sake of slow breathing, this contradicts the composer's intention and the whole logic of the musical development of the phrase. This is especially true of Bach's music.

If she wasn’t on a microphone you would not have heard the breathing.

@@maybee7126 I don't need a microphone to detect the flutist's breathing.

what exercise would you recommend so it isn't a problem taking a deep, quiet and fast breath?😑
