Fluteplaying seems to be connected with velocity and quick motion. Here we learn, the opposite is possible. Great music! I am happy to have found this video, although I prefer to play in a more historic style. Have you ever seen videos with Marcel Moyse or André Jaunet? Both played with unusual embouchures and beautiful sound..

I agree, 'Klanghause am See', I love the strength, intonation across all registers, clarity and precision of Denis' playing. I had listened to Marcel Moyse (Mozart concerto in D) but not André Jaunet. I will look for some of his work. I came to the flute rather late in life and am still practising, learning and enjoying daily! Kind regards, Mr. R.
