To all our viewers concerned about the audio, here is the story. We lost the footage that had our mic audio because of some unforeseen circumstances. We almost decided not to upload the interview, but we thought that we owe it to the readers and the author himself that this amazing conversation should be shared. So we enhanced the camera audio, which of course was of poor quality. But we have tried our best to do with the material we were left with. Apologies from our side, and we promise to bring another interview from J Sai Deepak very soon (and this time, we'll try our best not to lose our audio files 😊)

I just wish upsc start changing the syllabus to correct history. They teach all the shit to get pass the exam. 90% of them don't even think twice about the lies they consume and propagate thereafter.

The sheer carelessness in recording and lack of effort in processing the audio is typical behaviour of the main stream book publishers and media platforms who unwillingly give space to Indic authors just to look balanced and open. Had this interview been with a leftist author then we wud have seen a perfectly crafted video with utmost care and attention. The carelessness seems deliberate . This is nothing but a half hearted effort at looking balanced and welcoming of an author and viewpoint with which these media houses don't agree but want to anyway monetise on the author's undeniable popularity. Such a shame.

Let's not assume without knowing the facts. I am the producer and the host of this series. The channel has already clarified the problems we faced regarding the audio. You can check that in the pinned comment. Apart from that, I am responsible for selecting the guests for the show. The brand has no influence or responsibility for the content. Certainly, no politics drive my decisions. Our production team (who are freelancers) should have been more careful with the handling of the data. We apologize for that. We use one of the best equipments available in the category. You can check that in other episodes as well. This audio has been picked up from the camera audio. Our team has worked the best it can to improve the audio. But, we do accept our fault and promise to bring the guest again for another episode, very soon.

They do not even care about looking balanced. It is a tactic to build up viewership so that they can then peddle third rate western propadandists like dalrymple.

@@darkprince2490 You have to give more credit to small mistakes rather than a 'coordinated mischief'. The freelancers handling the production will not risk their paycheque and future work opportunities just to tamper with an interview which can be re-recorded in the near future. What exactly will they gain by it except bad professional reference?

I see how valuable this info is and how you lost your footage. But remember. You can't afford to do this anymore. Please set your sounds right. Audio is important.

This was an exception. Go check our other interviews in the Amazon Book Talks series. We have always tried to keep the production values high. Nonetheless, we know we are at fault, and we'll try not to let this happen again.

If you had some knowledge about mics, you would have observed they are using rode mics, not amazon basics. Ab unka audio footage hi corrupt ho gaya usme mic kya karega.
