And Indian islam is much more radical like Pakistani or Afghani issues than Arab islam or European islam ( Albanian , Montenegro...)

Kalaripayattu is a martial art which developed out of combat-techniques of the 11th-12th century battlefield, with weapons and combative techniques that are unique to Kerala. The word Kalaripayattu is a combination of two Malayalam words - kalari (training ground or battleground) and payattu (training of martial arts), which is roughly translated as "practice in the arts of the battlefield".... This is origin of Bruce Lee's Chinese Kunfu which came to China from Indian Pallava Prince Bodyan from South India

Great video I was also watching this for the first time. A few points that will make things clear are: Christians want to live with Hindu neighbors for the reason Hindus have high moral restrictions because of values. They don't generally marry out of their religion or even caste. So this love jihad thing does not exist. Hindus do not convert so that is again what makes them peaceful. Hindus don't mind or bother about other religions because they know the path is different but the destination is the same. Indian Muslim/Islam: By that what he meant is to believe in Islam but not hate non-muslims which is against the teachings of the Quran and Hadith. The left in India is basically suppress the Hindu or culture of the land and the Right is the one who talks about the culture of the land. Since Islam is Arabic culture they become obviously anti-Right and therefore is seen as left but they are not the example he gave is the Khilafat movement also known as the Moplah massacre in which 10k Hindus were killed in Moplah by Muslims.

@Zuzana, I hope this helps you understand: Kerala has been receiving a large quantity of funding from Wahabis in Saudi Arabia. This has resulted in growth and radicalization of the Muslim community there. Thus, Christians in Kerala now feel that they need Hindu neighbors to survive the Muslims. (Grooming gangs, etc.) The part about Indian Islam, refers to the historical truth that the current muslim population in India are descendents of Hindus who were converted by force, often at sword point. His position is that modern Muslims are in denial of this and believe falsely that they are descendents of Islamic invaders who defeated Hindu kings. (And thus have a right to rule over Hindus and the country.) The modern-day muslim in India needs to face reality and accept that they share the same DNA as their Hindu neighbors. Fun fact: The same can be said for Muslims in Pakistan, but there the Muslims are committed to the false narrative. Which explains why they started multiple wars with India post 1947.

Politics in India was never divided among the left and the right wing as there only existed parties that were more socialist leaning for much until 2014. There was no inherent hate for them for their welfare policies but what has brought the stark difference in peoples' view is that people realized that these parties almost always appeased communal minorities in India and were especially anti-hindu. When they were left out of power, they charged the people being right wing and the BJP being fascists. This has led us to a clear distinction that what makes the left and the right wing in India. Hope this would help you better understand.

The point of compartmenting things in left and right is very much valid in Indian perspective because of the politicization the leftists do to every single incident happening in India. This particular aspect of leftist cabal has forced every sane person to take a stand against their politicization of each and every small thing happening in India. Any incident and/or achievement which makes India proud, you'll find the leftist mindset demeaning the achievement by creating an issue out of a non-issue. The common people have started realising this anti societical approach of the left which actually based on hurting the national interests of this nation. Leftists are the biggest (artificial) victimhood creators in India. That sums up everything!

42:55 It's simple, Hinduism itself is very diverse. You cannot be an atheist and a Christian or an atheist and a Muslim. But you can be an atheist and a Hindu. There is literally a school within Hinduism for atheistic school called Charvaka. So obviously, a Hindu don't have any problem with Christian or Muslim faith as long as they don't try to convert Hindus. I genuinely believe the clashes you see between Hindus and Muslims is a reaction by the Hindus. As you know there is no such thing as Hindu conversion whereas millions of dollars are funded by foreign countries to convert Hindus to other faiths. Now when there is a religious clash between Muslims and Christians in Kerala which has a lot of Christians and Muslims, Christians obviously want to live with a Hindu majority state than Muslim majority state.

46:00 you're right. The country has not been solidified. 1- The western system has to go. That's the root of the problem. We're non west and we have to live by the rules of west. That's the problem. 2- India is the kand of intense debate. In medival era Hinduism vs Buddhism used to have grand high stakes debate and then only you'll convert or not based on the outcome. We even among Hinduism has ancient debates like formless God (nirakar) vs Sakar god (with form), Tantra vs Vedantic, Naturalistic form of worship vs meditation only vs idol worship vs everything combined and what not. Bharat has always been a land of debate and this right wing vs left wing is just another episode of it's immense history.

@zuzanareacts From what I understand about "Indian Islam" is, The followers of islamic faith should embrace to the fact that the culture of the land is indic (i.e Sanatan(Hindu), Sikh,Jain, Bhuddhist and many more) and let go of the conqueror's mindset of making this land Arabic (Sharia Compliant). In short: Accept the fact that you are belong one with the land and its culture as opposed to you should have right to rule the land and do not belong to the culture. Fantastic Example of this is Indonesia, where religion of the country is Islam and have sharia law but culture is still very much to their original roots which are Hindu.

The last thing Hindus who form the 84% majority in India want is to allow wave of Muslim migration from Bangladesh or Pakistan into India be because these countries are facing economic meltdown. Why would we Hindus want to upset the clear and powerful Hindu majority in India We Hindus know very well that the sole reason India was partitioned and large parts of our country in Western Punjab and Eastern Bengal having a lot of resources and rivers broke away from India to form the constantly antagonistic Islamic state of Pakistan is because of the Islamic majority in these regions.

About Indian Islam, what he means is that people should be able to practice their religion with complete freedom but they shouldn't mix the religion and culture into one. For example them worshiping some other god is fine but them trying to cut their Indian cultural roots and trying to embody arab culture and seeing those invaders from the past as their heroes rather than seeing them as invaders of their very own forefathers. So what he means is practice your religion but be Indian in your cultural roots.

45:17 (It would require a long explanation so bear with my rant) So people here *have* to think it from the perspective of "left-wing" or "right-wing" because there is judgement associated with it. And the judgement happens both in India and internationally. Media plays part of a huge role in this (Ranveer Show covered it in a recent podcast with Palki Sharma. ANI podcast also covered it in a podcast with Shashi Shekhar. I'll provide links to both podcasts below). Think about this: when an American Presidential candidate (either Republican or Democrat) says that "I'm a devout Christian", it is not painted good or bad. And you can find such videos Barack Obama, George W Bush, etc. and if you would have said you voted for either Obama or Bush, you probably wouldn't be judged (I'm deliberately not mentioning Trump because he was an exception). But if Modi says "I'm a devout Hindu", it is painted as appealing to Hindu audiences. And this happened during the previous BJP term as well: Atal Bihari Vajpayee's victory was painted as loss of secularism by a lot of Indian and global media even though he was considered to be a good Prime Minister. So if people in India said that they voted for Modi/BJP, they are immediately judged as Muslim hating or being a "bad" Hindu. Basically the message that every media outlet in the world tries to give is: If you are a "good" Hindu, you vote for X party; if you vote for the other party, you are a "bad" Hindu. And because people are judged based on who they voted for, they have to view the politics through the "left/right" political lens. Links to the podcasts I mentioned: 1. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoLUh6VmpMeFm9E 2. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6rVmqKupttpeac

Indian Islam is very different from Middle Eastern Islam. For example, In Islam you aren't supposed to Sajda (worship) in front of anyone other than Allah, but Indian Muslims do worship Sufi Pirs at Dargah. It's a part of Sufism. Sufism is a moderate spiritual version of Islam. To understand You would have to research Sufism vs Islam. Interesting fact : because of these differences Arab Muslims don't view Indian Muslim as true faithful Muslims, that's why Indian muslims are so desperate to prove their Islamic identity.

Good story 😂 you should educate yourself outside of rss schools of thought. There is no such thing as this or that but only 1 ISLAM which is about Peace and Acceptance, living a Disciplined life not Proving anything infront of people. Also Sajda is done only in Namaz (Prayer) a small part of worship not infront of anyone. Whoever does it and calls himself a Muslim is a Joke its like creating your own religion as per your choice ! Anyway what's ur view about Manusmriti ? Tell her to do a video about it also 😂 I'll provide the material - golwalkar and hedgewars books are enough to understand.

Islam, however soft it seems today at any place, is a time bomb, waiting for one radical literate person who reads quran in plain words. There is no conciliation with islam. There is no islamic extremism, islam is extremism.

44:00 a vast majority of Indian muslim leaders are against the reforms in Islam. You know how there is certain verses in quoran about kafirs(non beleivers) and polytheists and about their killings, conservative preachers in India don`t wanna move away from the "literal" interpretations of the texts unlike the preachers you see on the internet which emphasize the "context" of the verses more on the historical backdrop of it and how the verses aren`t really meant to be applied in the current context. Also, the shift away from the meaning of jihad as a holy war that muslims will go to all lengths in to establish Islam CONTRASTING to the idea that Jihad is an inner struggle within a muslim individual himself to sort of truly live up to the muslim ideals and the idea of muslim morality and to sort of take it as a mission to guide other practitioners of Islam into a better society. Also, there`s stuff about how certain Sharia laws on marriage like "triple talak" are banned in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and most of the muslim world and that were still prevalant in India among the mullah`s teachings and so when there was a recent political push to remove these inhumane acts (there were tonnes of cases of people divorcing their wives through texts by simply writing talaq thrice) it was sort of portrayed as a hit on the muslims in India and curbing their religious freedom. Also, "the left" in India always peddles these petty narratives and gaslights muslims to feel like victims when such sort of things occur, partly coz the left sees a powerful ally in Islam and muslims against the majority (hindu) coz that`s what the left basically does- "dismantling the strongholds anywhere" and emphasizing on individualism instead of ideas of collectivism like "family", "festivals", "community" or basically any sense of belongingness to the country or civilization etc and always trying to water down these concepts.

Zuzana, Indian Islam is a 'thing' . Most of present day Muslims in Bharat are descendants of Hindus who converted (by force or choice) to Islam. For centuries this community followed the core tenets of Islam but (until the early 20th century) still retained considerable cultural ties to their roots and this was and perhaps still is evident to a certain extent in their ceremonies, traditions, customs, language, attire and food. A wave of Wahhabism (an Islamic revivalist movement originating in the Arabian peninsula) did sweep through Bharat in the early 20th Century with an aim to culturally disengage Bharatiya Muslims from their Indic past and realign their cultural identity more firmly with an Arabic identity. This process is not yet complete and Indian Muslims are sadly considered and treated unequal (if not inferior) to "pure" true-blooded Arab, Afghan, Turkish or Persian Muslims. J. Sai Deepak has a brilliant chapter in his book "India, Bharat and Pakistan" which traces the history of Indian Islam and its 'wahabbization' and will inform you on how and why Indian Islam is so unique. Today, Indian Muslims are stratified into three or more 'castes' depending on their original ancestry - (1) Ashrafs, considered racially superior because of direct descent from Arab, Persian Turkic Afghan ancestry (2) Ajlafs, considered low-born and further stratified into sub-castes by profession such Ansaris (craftsman weavers traders) and (3) the Arzals considered the lowest born and stratified further by professions such as barbers, butchers tanners, sewage workers etc. Indian Muslims follow the Sunnah but they still retain vestiges of their ancestral culture to more or less extent. To be completely honest, I am not sure how rigid this social stratification really is in day to day life of the Muslim in Bharat. However 'Indian Islam' is not a different sect (such as Catholic and Lutheran); Indian Muslims follow the Sunnah as prescribed by the Quran, as assiduously as their counterparts in the Arabian peninsula. . They may differentiate themselves into Shia or Sunni or Sufi or other Islamic sects, just as Muslims all over the world do, but there are really no doctrinal differences between Islam practised in, say Saudi Arabia, or that practised in Bharat. The differences are only cultural, not religious. Right wing/Left wing politics does feature a lot, but mostly only in intellectual, academic or media circles. The average man/woman normally does not engage in such 'compartmentalization' as you put it, except maybe a little during the time of General elections. But Bharat is not a monolith (or solidified as you put it). Because it is insanely diverse and not homogenous. Imagine a diversity of language, cultural traditions, religion several times that of Europe contained within a single artificially constructed nation-state. If Europe were to become a single nation it would still be a pale comparison. I don't see how we can expect such colossally diverse ideas, ideologies cultures, languages, religions to coalesce into a syncretic whole. Indians tend to agree to disagree about almost everything. We tend to have passionate, very intense, debates and discussions and disagreements amongst ourselves on practically everything but, at the end of the day, most of us (if not all), identify ourselves as Indians (or now, increasingly, Bharatiya). That's what's unique (and can I say, amazing?) about us, I guess. Bharat has indeed been very accommodating to all religions, Jews Christians, Zoroastrians, including Muslims. If I am not mistaken, our Constitution is probably the only one in the world which has two separate Civil Codes, one exclusively for Muslims (Shariah) and one for Hindus and others. That is not to say that communal tensions do not arise time to time between different communities, including between Hindus and Muslims or Hindus and Christians and between Muslims and Christians. I want to beleive that those tensions are more politically driven than purely organic, but I may be too naive. I would hope that all religions in Bharat take a leaf out of the Indic (Bharatiya) ethos and learn to accommodate each other. Hope that was helpful.
