This collaboration is very special to me. Me and my childhood friend Hussain both lost our mothers two years apart from each other in 2015. My mum passed first in 2015 and when she did, I remember feeling numb on journey home. Thinking how am I going to tell people this. Hussain was the first person I called and broke the news to - I said “bro, I have to tell you something and I don’t want you to feel sorry for me. My mum went to heaven early hours this morning” he replied and said “i’m on my way”. I kid you not, he was at my house within 15 minutes - if that. He dropped everything called up ALL my close friends and they were ALL there for me, to hold me up when I was falling! I don’t think I’ve ever told him this but thank you Hussain… my brother, I am so grateful! Skip a couple years later, Hussain’s mum (i call her aunty) sadly passed away. I remember waking up to two missed calls. I called Hussain back and he said the exact same thing to me “J-Sol, I don’t want you to feel sorry for me. My mum also went to heaven last night”. I was shocked! It was so random because we we’re ALL together less than 12 hours before, with his mum at his house. I got in my car and drove to him straight away. Hussain has inspired millions of people around the world including me and given us all hope. How he has dealt with grief has been courageous, inspiring, admirable and so much more. To anyone reading this, I hope you listen to this song and hear that life is still a celebration and that our mothers are still here - living through us! A wise person once said “You can lose a loved one but you’ll never lose what they gave you and that was the will to NEVER give up”

Omgggg I just happen to cross the video of you performing on X-Factor never heard or seen you before and I swear my mother watched all the videos on xfactor and my mom always showed me them most times I’d watch them wit her. It was certainly fate or a sign or sumthing to come across that video of the song you wrote for your mother cuz today I been crying all day really missing my mother she passed this past December 2020 a week before Xmas I spend my last days with her in palliative care I been depressed for few months now I couldn’t get out of the rut but my kids need me and your song brought me strength and hope and not wanna give up even though it’s tough as hell. Thanks for sharing your songs I started to follow your KZbin channel. Sending you love and strength to keep going and not give up. Your awesome 😉🥰💙💖🙌🙌
