Licensing issuses, Funimation owns the licensing rights to DBZ, One Piece, Toriko, and Yuyu hakisho. Viz Media has naruto, bleach and Bobobo(I think, that's all i know) so licensing the game would be very difficult with many factors including a possible dub (no way in hell that would happen) plus what to do with certain unknown characters etc....

It is an opinion, not an excuse and I wasn't stating it as fact. To me, compared to some of the games incorporating these characters, it looks bad. The "fact" that it looks good on your tv doesn't make it one, because, in the end, that is an opinion as well. The TRUTH is that I know this is made by a studio who has no connection to the series only a few of these characters in this game appear, even though this game and the following games have the same publisher, Namco Bandai (Freiza, Goku and Vegeta from the Ultimate Tenkaichi series look similar to their designs here, which, to me, is sad considering those games were on PS2; Ichigo and Aizen looked much better in Soul Ressurcion which came out in 2010; Madara, Sasuke and Naruto look terrible, to me, when compared to how they look in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series on Ps3). In short, you may like the way the game looks, for whatever reason. I've stated my side, in depth now, which is why I can utter my OPINION once more, but now It looks like I must add a little extra for you to fully comprehend that this is an opinion: "Am I the only that thinks (an invitation for others to state their opinion) that while the character roster is impressive (an opinon), the graphics and artwork look like complete shit (the second opinion)?" I know nothing about the storyline because I refuse to watch the videos because the game looks aesthetically unpleasing. I always wondered if one day they'd make a Mugen kind of game that had the style of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and a little bit of DBZ BT 3. And you were not just limited to Jumo folks, but rather fighting anime in general. DBZ, Yugio, Naruto, OP, Bleach, Inuyasha, FMA, Sailor Moon, AOT, Zatch Bell, even Sword Art Online. And ya had like, 300 or so characters, and they'd stick main characters and secondary characters (by popular vote, so the fans get to choose and no complaints.) The game would take a hell lot of time to develop and the ost would be like, heck, probably $80....but my goodness, that would be a game of a lifetime....then you had a story mode where all your protagonists team up to beat an OC villain, bent on destroying/controlling the entire Universe. I don't give a flying crap if it's cliche, I'd buy that in a heart beat! I wish the same for Smash Bros, not being limited to Nintendo only, but a guy can dream :3

haime andeo Well thats your opinion then but i liked bleach i'ts story though the new arc is pretty bad and i like naruto too though the more powerful the characters get the less ninja like it is and more dbz-like it is. To be honest i don't care that one piece got 4 characters in, what i don't get is why hancock and ace are in i mean ace died and hancock did some important things in the one piece story but you'd think they'd put characters in that currently are more important i mean zorro would've been a better choice then ace and blackbeard would've been a better choice then hancock due zorro being the second strongest in luffy's crew and blackbeard being another major enemy of the strawhat pirates.

I don't know... I love the idea of this game, but the graphics look so crappy compared to older games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. Another thing I disliked about this game is, that most of the ultimate techniques (Seiya, Freezer, Vegeta, Naruto, Madara, Yusuke and Ace) were so much reduced in size, but well... at least Arale can punch the earth in half with her Earth-Splitter~ (dang the animation looks like it's made from a mugen designer...)
