If we would’ve known the 120A was gonna be this good, Gaijin should’ve given China the J11B. PL-12’s are good but not completely cracked, much better avionics package with good flight performance but nooooooo that’s makes too much sense. Here we got a J11 mixed with J11A stuff. Same terrible radar as the su27S/J11 with MAW and r77. Ok

Yeah China honestly should have recieved the J10 in place of the J8F, receiving the the M2K treatment and getting the updated weapons later on, don’t know how I feel about the way the flanker is in the game despite it being one of my favorite aircraft ever built

Its not 120A but a bit cut 120C Real 120a has phoenix-like homing head and same characteristics The range is also very very questionable. Irl British tested both 120A and 77 and they found out that 77 has a bit more range and more maneuverability Thats gayjin, they like to add non existing things. First thing I remember is aphe shell for t-44 which it has never had and same for m1 for example But they do lie and, you know, we have a "swings balance" but rn its too stupid as the Reds just can do literally nothing with those brooen radars and dogshit missiles

Pretty baffled they went with the J11A instead of the B since Pl-12 is in the game, and iirc it should have a better RWR. also still just using imported stuff instead of J10 and FC1k. c'mon gaijin.

Gaijin has an extremely noticeable habit of adding a plane that we should’ve gotten 3 patches ago now so it’s DOA. J-11B is what we should’ve gotten now

I was gonna say i get why they didnt add the J-11B cause AESA but doing a quick Wikipedia search the first J-11Bs didn't have AESA, just a much better pulse doppler, RWR, MAW and ECM, with PL-8 and PL-12, that would probably make it the best Flanker in the game but it wouldnt be game breaking. Later down the line you can add a J-11BG with AESA, PL-10 and PL-15 and the chinese engines

Yeah I cant fly this although I want to. I think you're better off using the J8F. Only 2 Amraams, but they're better and the RWR is modern. The J11A is literally a copy of the normal J11, except it gets MAW and R77s. ... Im *still* waiting for my J10 though :)

I played some matches rb and I can tell you that the markers for missiles don’t really work for fox 3s. It’s quite similar to the tactical gameplay in ec. Still faster and more „spammy“

It’s not the worst. You just gotta be more careful with your approaches and set up with engagements. Rwr should be more so a tool or a guide not something to rely on. Different play style for sure. Flanking is the name of the game I’d say. It’s a flanker for a reason.

1: LMAO what do you think is worse? 2: It's not a "flanker" and was never given that name by the russians. "Flanker" is the NATO reporting name for the plane, and it's simply a word beginning with the letter 'F' that they pulled out of a hat. The Su-27 isn't noteworthy at being a flanker than the Mig-21 was for being a bed for fish.
