What a blockbuster Caribbean series! It left me really happy that I will be going on a fly-cruise with Marella Voyager and your extensive coverage helps me to feel very oriented as to where things are located on board. Also, I love how you interact with animals you see in your travels. I do the same thing. Needless to say, your end of cruise reunions with your fur babies just melt my heart .

Loved the final part, Jamie. Barbados airport has great facilities, but the departure area leaves a lot to be desired. We were there last year around the same time as you and the departure area was chaotic...couldn't hear any announcements. Off to Dominica on Tuesday joining Explorer 2 for 7 nights. Cannot wait. Look forward to seeing your river cruise vlog when we get back.

Hi Jamie, we recently flew back from Bridgetown with TUI/P&O using the Concorde (Barn) departure facilities and it worked really well albeit, it was a bit basic but, was clean and comfortable …..Great vid 👍

Great series of videos, I was on explorer 2 while you was in with us at St Kitts doing the 18night repo cruise, I personally love marella, the entertainment, the staff, the relaxed vibe, its just brilliant and to me puts P&O to shame despite them being much older ships.

They are everywhere in Florida Keys. You see "families" on the side of the road. Had a huge one amble up to the hotel pool, spend a few mins having a drink, and ambled away again. Have lovely photos of this.

What a week - that itinerary looked fab. We had exactly the same experience at Barbados airport main terminal - don't think the Concorde terminal is much more fun either!

Flew home twice now with TUI from Barbados, and the airport was chaotic both times. Like you, three flights from the same area. Thunderstorms caused the delay this time and it took 2.25 hours to get to the airport, and then the driver took us to the wrong area 😂. Not a good TUI flight - so hot nearly passed out twice and the staff not that bothered. Werent keen to turn the heat down when hubby asked. Still feel sick when I think of lying on the floor at the back outside the toilet 🤢. Food was not great either.

Great job Jamie. Informative, entertaining and humorous (as usual). My wife and I will be joining Voyager on the 16th of January for a 2 week anniversary and birthday cruise. Would I look out of place on dress to impress night wearing a whistle and flute? Also do many people wear the Caribbean style shirts on the deck party evening. ❤
@TravelBlogJamieКүн бұрын
I don’t think anyone would look out of place on anything on here 😂 Caribbean shirts all week, not just deck party

Another fantastic video! We are onboard Marella Voyager in the Caribbean in late Jan - we cannot wait! As always found your videos really insightful, useful (and entertaining) How long was your walk in Barbados from the cruise terminal to the beach?

Such a contrast to the P&O/Maleth fiasco. Glad you had such a great time. Dominica looked fabulous, if I were 30 years younger I think I would enjoy the excursion you took. Disappointing breakfast on the way back, does the company not include sugar free option choice in advance when you book the cruise? Looking forward to the river cruise videos.
@TravelBlogJamie2 күн бұрын
Yes a massive contrast. No one should be eating 80-90g of sugar for breakfast, not just diabetics. I didn’t opt for it, no, because I’m always happy with just fruit / a hot breakfast.

Looks amazing ....even to somebody who hates being in water and heights. Though the crabs and lizards nearly made up for it ❤ Sorry to be a pedantic git, but I think you mean haggle not barter....was just imagining you washing the dishes in exchange for a beach lounger 😅

Jamie, this is the second KZbin video I tried to watch. I got only audio and no visual. All my other KZbin channels are playing perfectly. I’m not sure if I’m the only person with this problem, because there are no other people writing about it. At first, I thought it was my computer, but every other KZbin video is fine. Obviously I have now missed two of your videos. I am very sad and very frustrated. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong. 🙏

What is this obsession people have with getting their boarding passes in advance? There's a reason check in desks are called "check in" desks. They issue boarding passes. Every cruise passenger has a suitcase to check in anyway.
@TravelBlogJamieКүн бұрын
There’s no obsession. There’s also a reason some desks are called ‘bag drop’ …
