Definitely my highlight of Download Sydney. Love 70's Priest!! Was hoping they would play Saints in Hell but it was an awesome show and production all the same. Hope they come back.

Paul Corbbie might be reading into it too much but rob didn’t say ‘the priest will be back!’ Like he usually does. Really hope that wasn’t the last time I’ll get to see them

Still got two tickets for my daughter and I to see them with Ozzy. Doesn't look like it'll happen. Just want to take her to a real metal concert. I've seen more than my share from the punk 70s and 80s metal. But I want to take her to something. She's only 16. I'm 57. My son's 37 but she won't see Depeche mode. Clever girl.

Was disappointed Ozzy didn't play Download but Priest was definitely a highlight. Hope you get to see a metal with your daughter one day. Thanks for watching. Cheers.

anyone remember the story of the father and son bulls standing on a hill looking down on the cows? THAT is the difference between les/kk and their counterparts

Excellent video! Brings back great memories of seeing them in '82 on the Screaming for Vengeance Tour.... I was basically where you were standing but with KK and his reverse neck white strat playing Sinner. Its been 37 years and Ian Hill is pretty much planted in the same exact spot. There doesn't seem to be any chemistry with the band on stage...just 5 guys doing their job....or maybe its just me.

If that’s true they sound solid as fuck for a band with no chemistry

Yeah, I'm done with seeing them live. Rob does his best, and it's amazing how good he can be. But he's not good here. Understandable for sure since the high notes he used to hit here were insane. Richie's great, and I was ok with him replacing KK. But now with Tipton out? That's not Priest to me anymore.

The solo KK used to do on this might not have been as technically sound as Richie's - but it had more emotion. He let notes linger a bit longer, put stronger emphasis on some of the darker elements. It's a minor key solo and as such benefits from being a bit darker, more menacing. Richie is a fantastic guitarist, and no disrespect to him at all. But I prefer KK's solo in Sinner

When did Rob stop dyeing his beard?! He looks like Santa on Rudolf the Rednosed Raindeer
@adam9851855 жыл бұрын
csiel Probably because he felt it was itching to much, my grandma also stopped dying her hair when she got closer to 70 for the same reason. Besides, I like it when older people don't dye their hair or beards, because that's just a sign that they are confident enough to just be theirselves, no matter how old they get.
