Let me give you a lil more context on a possible justification for Chase. Hip drop tackles are at the least a season ending injury. Probability of being a career ending injury. When u feel someone violated u & could end ur careee it happens. That being said with this one came possibly tilting the scale at the end of the season for seeding for playoffs u CANT do what he did. Honestly hey may have cost em the game. 4 more points would’ve required KC to get a td.

We definitely rarely see guys yelling directly at the ref in their face and not get flagged for it. The ref gave him multiple chances to walk away. Chase got in his face as the ref was walking up to the ball, ref walks away, Chase came back and got in his face while ref was moving the ball, ref let it go, Burrow tries to hold him back and he’s still going towards the ref. Third times the charm, good call.

I think most folks would objectively say this is pass interference...not the most egregious pass interference ever, but the defender did get there early. I *also* think that most fans' issue with this play is NOT whether it is or isn't pass interference, but rather IF this would be called for most teams not named the Chiefs...that's the issue. I guarantee you if this was my team and not the Chiefs; this pass interference is likely not getting called.

Defender was never NOT grabbing and shoving the WR, including both well beyond 5 yards and during the throw. No PI called. If that's a Chiefs WR and not an ATL receiver, that PI is being called.
