I’m a big cyclist, cycle to work, do road cycling and bikepacking. Also started learning Hindi because many of my colleagues in the NHS are from India and many of our patients too. We have official interpreters, but they are always impressed when I try a few Hindi words. So thought it was time I made a big effort to learn properly. Going slowly but I’m hoping I will improve. It’s funny that I knew absolutely no Hindi but Now I can pick up a ‘few’ words from what you are both saying and understand them. It was only because of your channel I found about about the cycling Bab and subscribed to his channel. All the best. 😊😊👍

Lali meets Baba! Who would have thought!! I was actually following the great Cycle Baba and then I came across your channel, London Ki Lali. Your Hindi is quite good and your Indian cooking skills just fab! I was in London Aug/Sep 2018, spent ten days and met up with an old school friend. I traveled with another school friend (from Canada) and we stayed at a Motel in Harrow. Loved everything about London, visited several spots and also took a side trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Was hoping to visit again in 2019/2020 with my son, but then Covid happened. Maybe next year... maybe.

About the tea, I have to disagree with the "bad" quality of the Indian Chai in the video. Just like language, chai preparation is different in different parts of India. In some areas, milk, cream and sugar are must; whereas in other areas, a light tea without milk is appreciated so that the actual fragrance of the tea can be experienced. In other parts, chai is made with butter. I am sure that chai was great in that restaurant, but not made the way cycle baba is used to.
