Awesome interview!!!! I use to work in food service at Duke University and I remembered serving Jabari and talking with him. One of the most humble Duke ball players to set foot on campus in my 17 years there. Hope he can come back to NBA one day.

Same. I feel for him. But I will say… I grew up in Chicago. Remember his nba career well and his time on the bulls. He was incredibly un motivated and overall a selfish player. Had zero desire to play defense and even said he gets paid to score not to play defense which rubbed a lot of people the wrong way here. Didn’t care about his conditioning and overall not a great team player kind of guy. Still super hard to see him like that. But it wasn’t all injuries that got him to where he is now

Salute to Chicago's Very Own Jabari Parker Glad to see he is still hooping professionally I im also Chicago native & grew up in the hood so I'm rooting for everybody from our City who makes something of themselves and trying if You can make it in Chi town we can make it anywhere, So I have to disagree when he said that he is not supposed to be here but I get his point he seems like a grounded & humble guy Great Interview!!

I remember watching him and Yannis play together. I was thinking "in 10 years if these two stay together in Milwaukee they will be like a Wade-Lebron combination". When he was first injured I was so sad thinking about that whole potential. Brought me back, Rose memories. But with this interview I appreciate him even more. It's amazing how calm and mature he looks. In the end, as he said, he is blessed. Some people think that playing in Europe and in a organisation like Barcelona is easy. To finish this comment, I was really amazed when he said that he is happy not playing some nights so much because a teammate is having a better night. The Americans that truly believe in the fundamentals of the game are going extinct. And made me happy when he mentioned that he is at his 20% skillswise. I was really curious because really it's like that😂 I was wondering if it was by a choice of the coach/his role

He was a good high school and college player. He was an average pro player before the injuries. And by average I mean compared to the super hype he had. I would say about 20 years old I started realizing that all of the hype that comes with these guys is just that and it's rhetoric for media content.
