My favorite Rocket! Him getting a taste of the Olympics this summer should impact his play big time this year.

If a player is improving, you can not know his ceiling. He is one of the best players of Houston and I hope he will be much more better this year.
@arc7xangel89714 күн бұрын
I agree, but I think he gets moved eventually. I think the rockets are going to have to choose between him and Sengun. The second apron is not going to allow the Rockets to keep all that young talent. Given that they just paid Sengun. I would be surprised to see him get packaged for a star. If one becomes available.

I believe it's on the rockets coaching staff to implement him more in the offense. They ran little to no plays for him. He clearly excels in the mid range and is the key to a complete and diverse offense for this team.

I too predict he'll make that 3rd year leap. Much like Sengun did last year in his 3rd year. Three, it's the magic number.

Jabari Smith need more touches next season and improve his footwork, floater pull-up jumpshot & add little muscle 💪🔥💪

I think the biggest thing for Jabari is his confidence and mindset. He goes through periods where he seems to lose confidence in himself and his shot and starts overthinking things, and it can snowball. He has all the traits and fundamentals to be a great player, though.
@royalace22713 ай бұрын
Many casuals has labeled Jabari as a Bust from his sub par rookie season compared to Banchero stellar rookie campaign. But judging by their potential and career trajectory, Jabari may have a more successful career compared to Banchero. His untapped offensive potential as a shooter and elite scorer in the post to go along with his immense defensive versatility makes him extremely valuable

The problem is the Rockets have to many young players who have untapped potential, and it’s holding them all back. Hard to see any of them reaching their full potential until some of them are moved.

I was waiting on you to speak on the mid post game. He is elite already and doesn’t even know it. That should be a set the rockets go to all the time. He torched everyone when they ran that for him. Then they just quit going to it!!
@jeffreymerlino46133 ай бұрын
i think stephen silas was a horrible coach for him in his rookie year, even admitting he had no plays for him in his playbook. you have a 6'10" athletic freak who can shoot threes, how do you not run 10 pick and rolls for this guy every game? he has all the tools to be a great offensive player, i think udoka will be able to unlock him a little bit more as he gets older. smith is going to be good i swear to it!

I like that Jabari is starting to settle into his role. I think he can develop into something more but that will be dependent on his touches. However, I think it’s more important that he can learn to play in a role because most players that come in have a hard time adjusting (or just straight up don’t), especially high lottery picks. I think that says a lot about Jabari despite an underwhelming rookie year. The future is bright for Bari, I’m excited to watch him next season. Edit: also wanted to add, his midrange last season was ELITE. Literally every time he’d hit those shots it reminded me of KD.

The good thing for him is that he can focus on his game without too much pressure or nervousness, there isn't anyone on the bench that could seriously take his spot. The only thing I want to see him do this year is abusing defensive mismatches by just fronting them and shooting over them.

@@dreamshake11he’s 21 years old. If he was 24 this would be a different story. He just needs time to develop his game. He’s on a complicated team with a lot of young potential stars fighting to have a break out season. He probably won’t ever be a superstar, but he will be a super talented 2-3 option in the future. The rockets young core are all 22 or younger. At least let players get some years in the league before you start calling them a bust.
