3:23 for those who don't know: Their jersey number is a tribute to one of the founding members of Jabbawockeez, Gary Ray Kendell, known as "Gee One." He died of pneumonia the same year the Jabbawockeez auditioned for America's Best Dance Crew and won, back in 2007.

The original complete lineup back in '04 consisted of eight members; now there are only four, and three of them were part of the original lineup. Keep in mind that some of these guys are probably already in their forties and are still moving like this.

This is by far my favorite performance the JabbaWockeeZ have ever done. BEFORE you criticize them, hear me out: They hit every subtle beat, their performance was as intricate as ever; they went from the new school hip hop, to old school and then paid tribute to Robin Williams with a beautiful piece of breakdancing. (RIP Robin Williams) They touched on various genres of music, added comedy, and were precise and in sync with all of their movements. This is NOT just dancing. This was a beautiful piece of art. I have been a JabbaWockeeZ fan since day one and they've inspired me to dance, but this was a thing of beauty. And I have to say Thank You to the JabbaWockeeZ for inspiring me and the many other to dance. And thank you again, for this amazing piece of art, and bringing music to life.

I lost my younger brother (my only sibling and my favorite human being ever) very suddenly and unexpectedly in 2018. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a sibling that was a big part of your life, who you really loved, is a unique type of experience. Not all siblings are close in age, or grow up in the same house, or get along well, or talk regularly. It's devastating losing grandparents and parents, of course, but there's an element of acceptance with their passings because that's life. People who are older than us are going to die one day. I can't say if it's worse to lose a spouse or a sibling or a best friend. I guess it depends on a lot of factors. I just know that siblings are the ones who are supposed to travel through this life alongside us. We share our childhoods, we share our school years, we get jobs, get married, have kids... siblings are there at every stage. That includes getting old one day. You're supposed to still have your siblings in your life when you retire and your hair turns white and grandchildren start being born. It's a lifelong relationship and sure you can have lifelong friends you met in kindergarten and you stay friends your whole lives, but siblings are blood. There's a difference. It's just still so hard to accept that he's not going to be by my side for the next 40 or 50 years. How old was your sister? Were you very close friends? How are you coping with the loss? I hope you are doing as well as can be expected considering the loss you've experienced. 💜

I see a lot of people say, "Why don't they do this anymore? They used to be like this. They used to be like that!" Do you honestly think some of the best crews will continue to stay being the best if they kept doing the same thing over and over again? The best crews are trendsetters and pioneers and most importantly artists. They continue to change, grow, and create. You won't stay at the top if you're stagnant. And unless some of yall know the 4 Pillars of Hip Hop by heart, don't even talk about Hip Hop being dead, because it's alive, just more in other places now than just music.

Many of those crews has been around for a long time and even their fathers before them. They were just never televised or mostly underground as social media wasn't as big back then during those days like it is today. Especially for asian/pacific islander groups growing up in the US back then, many were superb in all 4 elements of Hip Hop not just dancing, but most were not discovered until ABDC came into the scene.

Jabbawockeez transcended regular human dance long ago. What they do is unmatched amazingness in its purest form

IMHO still the greatest crew of dancers in the word. Choreo is dope as hell, synchro is always on point and tell a great story when they dance.

Back in 2022 and it is still AMAZING. Loved Jaba since around 2009 and still love coming back to these older ones. Their creativity and the small details, like at 4:44 and 5:54 is what sets them apart from so many groups. It's not all about the flair. The subtle details, behind the main action moves, and the obvious passion in each and every move is what make them the best dance group to ever exist.

They could actually never show their faces, eventually switch out with their children, that’s if they haven’t already and we’d never know it

They've only shown the real jabba, but the sideman don't

We’ve only seen the faces of the original or main jabba, we don’t see the remaining members faces!! Now that I’m thinking about it 🤔

Simply the best to ever do it. The musicality is in a league of its own. No matter what they do, it’s some of the finest art performed

I think the last song they chose and the way they exited the stage went perfect together. It's almost like I was sad that the routine was over lol.
