This is a very unique Wear OS Smart watch, it has a dual layer screen and the TicWatch Pro claims to get 30 Days of battery life, but at what cost to the experience? This is my full and final review of the TicWatch pro. How is it for every day use, fitness and overall experience on a day to day.

Though I like some things mobvoi had done, I've had some issues. Own a tic 2, tic s and now tic pro. Tic s has charging connection issues. Got to wiggle and hard press the charger to finally get it charge. Other than that it work perfect. My tic 2 failed after 17months. Worked great for 16months. Then after 4 hours the power would drop from about 70% then it immediately dropped to 10% and went into standby. Kept doing it. Now I'm a lite user. Max of 15 to 20 notifications per day. 3 to 4 calls. I bought both through Amazon, but they said mobvoi would handle the warranty. Mobvoi agreed. Just had to send proof of purchase. I did. Mobvoi said no warranty because even though it was a prime Amazon item the seller listed was not an authorized seller. Told Amazon and to my astonishment they issued me full credit for the watch. You'll ask why, but I used the credit for the tic watch pro. I still believe in the product and I have not seen a negative review. After all the unnecessary info the issue is the watch shows the cloud image with the line through it indicating it's disconnected from the phone, yet if I open wear os it shows it as connected. So I don't know what's going on. I thought I'd ask here 1st since even though I've had issues I like the watch but mobvoi is unnecessarily difficult to deal with. Sorry for the long post and sorry if this post doesn't really belong here.

Yeah I have had some issues with mobvoi as well. Won't answer simple questions for bluetooth pairing issues. Also had a lot of trouble transferring mp3 files from pc to watch. Had to get a third party app to get it done. The watch is good but not great

Great info. I noticed you hitting the button repeatedly to turn screen back on. A deal breaker would be no setting to extend stay-on time.

Yeah they increase the RAM on the 2020 tickwatch pro model to 1gb. It runs even smoother now

With the ticwatch I had a problem with my hands were sweaty navigating the watch when I was running. But the OK Google control really did help. But I will tell you that swipes and taps are worthless when your hands are wet. Comparing that with the Samsung watch.I like the rotating bezel but I do really miss the control of the Google Assistant to start my music and stop it or advance the next song or to open another app. I think if ticwatch had either a rotating bezel or a rotating crown. This would be my choice. And of course a little better battery life. Like 4 days

I bought this watch on Sunday. Looks fantastic. Waiting for it to be shipped. I called Mobvio to enquire if they will have any shipping issues w/ corona virus kicking into high gear. They said no, it shouldn't affect shipment. However the rules around corona change every 5 min. I found the Amazon reviews on Ticwatch at 75% between 4/5 and 5/5. However, there are many 1/5 reviews. Issues are pretty consistent... poor battery, no sound on google assistant, screen lags. Now I am regretting the purchase. Should i cancel the order? Based on this review i dont want to cancel. People have to know this fitness band not a watch it s a intelligent fitness bracelet with of course the time on it.... why not? And smartwatch is above all a watch with smart features and that Mobvoi understood it.

Hi. It seems I only get about 12 hours of use for the watch. Is there something I'm doing wrong. I do know have the always on display and I do take a few calls and responds to texts about 10 out of 40 messages. Also, I see on the LCD display it shows some battery status on the bottom but on mine it only shows one battery

Also one other correction it does not have a stainless case. It is a polycarbon/glass case.

The case is steel, the shell might be painted with a softer thin layer but the body is definitely metal, Not plastic.

Just graduated from a Fitbit to the TicWatch Pro. This video was a huge help...this is my first smart watch even though I am a tech geek. Question: I use the TicWatch with iOS and I use the Facer App for my watch faces. Some are premium and the app says the Facer Premium is not available on iOS. Do you know if that means that with iOS I won’t be able to pay for premium faces? And would also love to know if there are other watch face apps you recommend. Thanks!

Awesome. That promotion was great with the band! The ticwatch doesn't take a sim card so you need it tethered to your phone for answer the calls.

Not make the screen worse but at low brightness yes on the bright sun the LCD screen hide a little bit the amoled u see something but hard to say what time it is. But on high brightness you can see clearly the amoled color on the bright sun better than other smartwatch but in essential mode it super clear and that the point of the LCD screen it made for user like me who complain to no see the time on the sun no reflective like sony smartwatch 2 garmin or thor smartwatch and black screen make look the watch doesn't work.

The galaxy watch is a fancy watch but not as functional as the ticwatch,if u are really into google. Fitness is better on ticwatch and apps are better. GW is a great looking device but Bixby sucks and little to no app support but hardware is way better... Put it this way, if you just want notifications and a great looking watch go Samsung but if you want a smartwatch and want to use it more than u pull your phone out, get the ticwatch

I just bought this watch. First full day use it didn't last all day. I installed an app to extend the always on display to stay on for 15 seconds before essential mode kicks in and I'm using a custom watch face app but I don't get a days usage why

Sometimes those custom watch faces, like the ones from Facer, take a TON of battery..that could be your issue.Or that third party app to extend the AOD could be it first.. Use it stock and see if that changes your battery life .

All u need to do is adjust the screen timeout, I have mine set at 10 seconds.. Don't need an app for that, it's builtin to most faces

You should always expect to not get great battery life the first week or so when you get a smartwatch. Chances are you'll spend a LOT of time on it, playing around with apps, changing settings, or just admiring it. Once you get more used to having it you will find yourself using it less because you'll only be on it when you are using it for something important, and then you should get much better battery life.
