Very informative!! Ford OEM is the way to go when it comes to plugs for this 3.7 in my experience with my truck. FYI typically these coils need to be replaced very 150.000km. Not just the boot but the whole coil pack. I would recommend replacing the coils in bank 1 at the very least. Save yourself the headache of having to remove the intake yet again. Bank 2 is very accessible and can be replaced as needed. Also it always seems like cylinder 3 and 6 are the first to go when it comes to plugs coils or coil boots. I have no idea why! Fantastic tutorial ! Good Job 👍🏼

AWSOME VID! I HAVE A 2013 XLT 3.7 i replaced pcv valve, spray clean mass air flow sensor, replace air filter and scrubb throttle body while in there while replacing plugs, pour a can of SEAFOM in gas tank…. And that’s the best truck i ever had , it runs smooth like a beast when i need it to respond. I don’t like messing with fluids (not so graceful w/fluids) so i take it in for ALL fluids. GREAT JOB!

I recently replaced the plugs on my 2013 3.7. I didnt have to disconnect coil pigtails. Was able to leave them connected. Saved a little time not having to deal with those stubborn release clips. Great video.

@17:25 the spark plug gauge still has a sticker on the underside, which may affect the measurement a little.

I have the same truck 2013, I can’t find a video for where the coolant temperature sensor is located. I’ve seen for other motors, 3.5L , 4.2L and others and don’t know if it’s located in the same spot. Can you help?

Bruh. Mine is nowhere as easy as your's. I cant see the plug i cant get the socket on the hex of the plug there is rubber inside i assume to shield coil. Already broke the rubber trying to push down on the plug! I feel like i just F'd up!

I swapped the Motocraft Platinum for NGK iridium’s and now it’s rough idle and says Advanced Trac needs to be serviced???

I’ve tried a few different plugs types of plug. For some strange reason the Ford OEM always work best. FYI Standard blue streak coils at rock auto are great !
