I still use my 85ts. To this day I'm on my 7th pair since release but since I get them on eBay for 50-100 dollars and nothing to me compares. I've had it all I try new ones all the time . The fit and sound quality bar none But don't believe me haha leaves more used pairs for me

I have 2 pairs of the 5. (lost and then found the other), And I don't know what he used to make the sound comparison, but mine never sound that void of lower frequencys. I'd say it's worth the penny. Also, don't think only base sound means it's not good, for I've never had gear that has just right base tuning for me. So I always use an EQ. You can get really good ones for free.

How do the 5s compare to 85t? I have senheiser mtw3 and jabra 85t.. hardest decision i have ever made? Calling is better on 85t by far. Senheiser sound better for music, however i hate the touch sensitive buttons on the mtw3s, like you adjust it or scratch ur ear and ur changing something! I love the physical button on the jabras. Man i wish mtws had phys button

Hello ! Sound ? Always difficult to judge, because of being very subjective, individual. My sensations with the earbuds featured here have been : elite 5 = a lot of top end, brilliant but not as natural, warm enough. The 7s pro and active did a lot better (for me). The 3s and 4s, in between. Did listen to all of them in this nice video with one of the predecessors, the elite 85 t, which I really like....certainly there are many more to be liked too 😃😉 ! Thank you for this nice and interesting comparison!

Elite 7 Pro's have horrible problems with call quality after the most recent update. It is why they are giving them away at 99.00 to every retailer currently. Its too bad. So far, the 75T are still the SQ champion of all Jabra earbuds IMO.

Right earbud is practically dead, not being able to be reset, turned or or charged. I am looking around for a new pair. I don't like the Jabra eq because the frequencies I want to boost and cut to make the elite 7 pro sound better can't be tweaked. I've managed to get a much more neutral sound (not completely flat but satisfyingly balanced) on the 1More Aero earbuds. There's a bandwidth slider for 632hz, basically the lower mids, which the Jabras are sorely lacking. Vocals and some instruments sound okay at best, but I want more power. It helped a lot to switch to the SBC codec instead of AAC; that codec bloats the sound to the point of feeling like the music is being played underwater. SBC does bring out more of that midrange character and the best I've gotten the jabras to sound is with the Speech preset. Still, the 1More Aero have a laughably better sound stage and timbre after I EQ'd them to mostly match the Oratory1990 EQ adjustments from github. At least the elite 7 pro make for an okay backup but I can't use them when working outside without them eventually pushing out of my ears (even while using their largest eartips!).

Listening to this with my brand new elite 7 actives! Those are really good. They replaced my old google pixelbuds A series that wouldn’t hold their charge for more than 5 minutes. I love how they sound, and IMO, it is better than any wireless earbuds I’ve had before. I had beats, original AirPods, then the Pixelbuds, and now the elite 7 actives. Huge upgrade from the pixelbuds as they didn’t have any of the cool features the jabra elite 7s have

@@RBMT it’s insane ngl. Once you tune them with their app, they can put out some bass that you won’t get with pixel buds or AirPods. I had both before and these are by far the best sounding earbuds I ever had. What makes them even better is that they have amazing battery life

I actually have Sennheiser cx but I’m quite disappointed how muddy the vocals actually felt, it is quite dominated by my oneplus buds z lol. I’ve tried an abundant of mixes in its tuning app but still is muddy and veiled overall.

the anc on all of their buds is a joke. i always turn it off to save battery on my elite 7 active. if you know what i.e. sony does with anc, then you might think that there is no anc at all on those jabras. the passive noise reduction is fine though, because their fit is good in my ears (with the right ear tip). i prefer the jabra design and button controls over touch controls, because they work even in the rain or with wet hands. touch controls sometimes react weird when they get wet on the touch surface.

I have the 85T's and wonder if the Elite 7 is considered an upgrade with its single earbud use as well as longer battery life. Does the smaller drivers in the elite 7 match the 85t's as well as the ANC level. Or should I wait for the 95t's?

Hold on to your Elite 85t for now. The Elite 85t are still Jabra's true flagship and continue to offer superior sound quality, ANC and comfort (due to semi-open fit compared to the closed fit of the Elite 7 series). I'm also looking forward to the Elite 85t successor should it happen.

The test is nice but unfortunately doesn't represent the reality. I had the Jabra elite 3 , and the treble was so harsh it was impossible to use them. But through my speakers in this video they sound different and totally usable

DO NOT BUY Jabra elite 5 after few hours of usage it starts to produce some kind of weird wind noise. It is a common issue. There are multiple threads on reddit. The noise only goes away if yoou don't use ANC or heartrough. Please do not buy them if you care about these features.
