This was an excellent review. Thanks for doing this, Danny!

Thanks Danny, that was super helpful! In my opinion the Jabra (and I love their products) had a bit of a "crackle" and particularly with "s" words. I liked the overall tone of the Logitech mic better. They are likely both great products, but in this case I am going to purchase the Logitech. Loved the sleeping dog in the video - in my case, there are two! Haha

The Logitech was better at noise cancelling but the overall voice quality of the Jabra sounded light years better. Logitech was very compressed.

From my phone speaker the Logitech sounded louder and seemed to distort a bit when your voice got louder. It also had more of a walkie-talkie sound. I prefer the Jabra, but it doesn't have as much presence as the Logitech. Just my opinion.

I think Jabra boosts treble frequencies so it sounds more clear but kind of unnatural also. Logitech does not boost any treble frequencies so it sounds a bit compressed but more natural overall. Both headsets microphones are restricted to Wideband Speech that's why Jabra is forced to boost treble to avoid sounding compressed, Logitech keeps it natural but sounds a bit compressed.

Does any of those require software to use NC? Or is it hardware solution?
@CallOneInc2 жыл бұрын
Hi doman! Appreciate your feedback and questions! The NC will perform out of the box. There is software available that help you customize settings and with some headsets, firmware has improved noise canceling and other things to optimize performance. It’s not needed but strongly recommended. www.logitech.com/en-us/video-collaboration/software/logi-tune-software.html Contact us if you would like more help! Mention our KZbin channel for discounts! which one is more comfortable on the ears if you are wearing it for few hours
@AraAvid4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the review. I have some questions: 1. which one is more comfortable on the ears and over the head? I found the logitech presses down on top of my head after some time (not enough cushioning) and it starts to get a little uncomfortable after a while. How does the Jabra compare in that sense? 2. Which one has more comfortable ear pads? 3. can the in-line controls on both headsets be used to 'end' calls on Skype?

Hi, i just bought jabra evolve2 40, im using macbook pro 2019.. and when i used it on my skype, nothing works! The sound from my tv is still heard in the background, the little fan at my back really created a noise ... can u give me a suggestion how to turn on the anc or set it up on my mac? Thank you!
@fredab.58334 жыл бұрын
@@CallOneInc thank you! Would you share the volume set up for input and output? Im on mac os catalina (using jabra evolve2 40 UC), did all the jabra direct download, setting, and volume stuff but I still sounded like im far away from my mic using zoom, and even cutting in and out :( thanks in advance!

@@fredab.5833 You might want to check properly the device selection. Initially I was having problems like you, it turned out that my audio output it set to the headset, but the micropjone was set to the one on the laptop (thus it picked up every ambient background noise).

Thanks a lot of the great reviwes and comparison as i'm searching for exactly for that. To my ears, hands down Logitech, but felt the mic is a bit sibilant compared to the rest. Was worried that with noise cancellation voice will be bit "thinner" but seems that it's doing well.

@jeckztus4 жыл бұрын
@@CallOneInc for now I can only comment for Evolve2 40 UC. It's working flawlessly with Avaya One-X. Mute works especially when you are moving the mic upwards or by clicking by mute button. Jabra Direct detects Avaya One-X Agent is Ready for use just like Teams and Zoom.

The idea and scenario is best, but sound too bad
@TheThomasdahl3 жыл бұрын
Sidetone volume is way to low even set at the maximum 6db.. Hopless as you cannot hear yourself speak. That is a big deal and has stopped me using them. Also the head-band will not allow me to pull them low enough to cover my ears... Pretty shitty considering the price. The sound quality is not bad, but I cannot recommend them for the above reasons.
@domantlen62312 жыл бұрын
I cant understand how ppl here claim Logitech is better. Please guys dont use your external speakers but use (good) headphones. Yes, logitech has better noise cancellation, jabra leaks more. But the price for this is significantly worse quality. Logitech is much more compressed, more sybilants, more sharp heights. It reminds me those "fancy" 3d sorround software emulation systems in gaming headsets from the past.
