Voice from Beyerdynamic sounds very warm when you are near to it. Thats pretty nice, … competitors sound tinny. Thanks for the test and your time 👍🙂

Danny, firstly you are doing great job with sharing how these devices work in a real environment. One feedback though, you placed the device in your side and you are speaking towards camera, therefore the mic has to extra try to pick your voice. It is nice example of use case scenario, but for 1-2-1 use I assume that I would place it in from of me, to get better sound.

Thanks for the nice review! Didn't knew the Beyerdynamic Space either. Sounds pretty good, although I still prefer the Jabra for the stand and cable management. Did you already check out the EPOS EXPAND CAPTURE 5 for Teams Rooms? Would be great if you could review this :)

Hi Rob, YES! I was about to buy my own MTR license until Microsoft announced a MTR Basic would now be free with Microsoft Teams Room certified device! Hopefully I get a license soon! There are other EPOS solutions I haven't been able to test because I lacked the license.

As usual epos is heavy handed on their mic compression, they really should learn from those Yamahas. Speaker wise beyerdynamic is surprisingly strong for its look. I’d say for an office runner having a built in cable is quite crucial for portable conference speaker though, because once a while on a Monday morning 7am meeting you’ll find out the battery is empty or you don’t have time to fiddle with Bluetooth settings.

Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback, Awkward moment! YES! Having the integrated cable with cable management and a slot for dongle are must haves for portability in today's work from anywhere landscape.

Help! Which speakerphone out there has the fewest lights? or lights that can be switched off? Looking to use this in a dim / no light meditation room, and would like to eliminate light distractions. THANKS

That's a great question. Most USB / Bluetooth Speakerphones have built-in indicator lights to provide users with visual status notifications of the device. However, one USB Speakerphone has a single, tiny light that is either "blue" to show it's connected and on or "red" to indicate you are muted. And that is the JPL Convey. And it's a tiny guy at only 3 in x 3 in. Check out the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKSbe3-fZ8ecirs This is NOT a Bluetooth speakerphone. You must connect to a computer via the included USB-C/USB-A cable. I hope this helps.

@@CallOneInc good stuff. What are your thoughts on BEOSOUND A1 2ND GEN as a speakerphone? Really good music sound, Bluetooth only, battery can be switched out, and P67 rating for outdoor travel. But use as a speakerphone, toooooo?

Hi, @programroom689! Best varies depending on your use case and desired outcome. Based on my tests, the Jabra Speak 750 is a solid performer across multiple meeting platforms/applications on your computer and mobile device. I like the kickstand feature. And the audio quality is consistent. You can also wireless link a second Speak 750 to cover larger spaces or more people. Contact us directly if you have more questions! Hey Danny, thanks a bunch! I work mobile and travel quite a bit, these speaker phones have always been a key productivity tool, setting up meetings at moments notice. Have been using the Jabra 750 for almost a year now, kept upgrading from the range started with the 510 (had some serious control panel design defect). Have always been curious with the Jabra's approach with their single omni-microphone setup. Wondering if the competitors with multiple mic arrays would do a better job at voice pickup quality, was thinking about the beyerdynamic as it spec'd itself with four MEMS type microphones, but your test just proved otherwise!! Now I wonder if Poly is doing any better at voice quality. My experience with the Jabra 750 has been great, totally dependable, bluetooth 4.0 sometimes causes the unit to reset and we need to re-pair the device (I am multipairing). The only enhancement I am seeking is perhaps a crisper voice pickup, I think the 750 does quite a bit of processing for noise reduction and voices. Our voice do sound a tad compressed, sibilance completely missing. With today's HD voice call that you get direct from your phone or devices, conversations feel more natural. Wonder if Poly does it any better? Thanks Danny, loving the show!
