I think something that the baseball card community needs to do is just stop purchasing boxes/packs from secondary. Prices are through the roof for things that don’t guarantee something great I know it’s for the fun but it’s almost not fun paying this much. We all stick to buying singles and it’s not to but you or others out of business it’s to lower prices it’s insane imo

The only way to course correct would be for Topps to flood the market with cards. Making sure that there’s enough cards for the average buyer to obtain. This would kill the secondary market of allowing these large shops to buy up all of the stock and reselling them. I buy A LOT of sneakers and this is what Nike did to stop resellers from manipulating the market which was hurting Nike and the customer. A lot of other brands became popular as people needed an alternative to buying sneakers that weren’t being bought up by resellers who were then doubling and tripling the price. Nike increased their supply and now whoever wants it buys it from them and not the reseller.

I agree secondary prices for boxes and packs are ridiculous I stick to buying single cards it’s fun opening packs and boxes but not for these prices

In last year's packs you could turn the pack over and spot which ones had the sticker card with the 4 players on it. The sticker cards were upside down and you could see the white of the sticker contrasting against the backs of the other cards in the pack. You could also spot the blue sticker cards this way. Not sure about what else.

Went to my LCS today. They had hobby boxes for $140. Considering what others are asking, nice price. Got shorted an auto. Worse than that, the auto I pulled was Ke'Bryan. I have so many of his autos I have run out of people to give them to. Did pull every major base rookie.

Anyone know what the code is for the image variations? I got two Nolan Schaunal's in a box with different codes and the only difference I notice is the back of the card is slightly different. Does anyone know what I should be looking for? Thx

I got a Garrett Cole i believe design variation ends 39. The 61 I think has the comic on the bottom of back instead of top of back. Most are design variation image variations there's only like 6-10 players but have same odds as design variation.

Nice cards. I like the yellow foils as well but there’s no way we should be paying $10 per fat pack…it’s retail. Never. If you bought a case, each pack would be around $7.40 ea…still too high. I’d pay $2 max at a flee market for those in about 10 years. Ok, this negative Nancy is done complaining. Thanks for another great video Erik!
