Non-Tamil people's are thinking that these Tamil peoples always talk about Tamil Tamil Tamil . For them, I want to clarify. we never degrade any other language Hindi, English, or anything. But, why others are imposing other languages on us?. Think about this>>> Our ancestors preserved our language for over 2000 years and it is still a spoken language. If we do not preserve the language which they preserved, it will be a betrayal for our ancestors and if we leave our language and start speaking Hindi or English it will be a disgrace to the whole current and future Tamilians. This is not a language that is derived from any other place or any other language. It's our own pure language which we are using for a long ago. and there are many languages which are existed existing by Hindi and English. so, we are trying to protect our language. Even We accepted English for a reason so that we can be in touch with modern society and with the world. But we will never accept Hindi. If Tamil Destroy for any reason then the whole community will start to disappear and this is what we afraid of. we will never let that happen. In fact, the world should be proud of us that we are protecting our language generation to generation from many problems. I hope you guys can understand if you still not able to... then you never can feel other's pain and feelings.Tamil is not just a language it's our identity, emotion and culture.வாழ்க தமிழ்

@@தமிழ்என்உயிர்-ழ4ச The word "Dravida" was taken from the schools of Buddhism. Buddhism has 3 major schools namely, Mahayana, Theravada and Vajrayana. Theravada Buddhism originated from India and the original books were written in Buddhist native language, Pali. Coincidentally, during the Pallava's reign of South India, Buddhism did flourish and traveled abroad to China and Japan. It's believed that the English in order to confuse and conquer India, distorted the history by mixing up the Pali and the Pallavas and used the Buddhist school of thought and branded the South Indians as Theravadas which later was taken the political groups as Dravidas to split the south and the north Indian states. This is still being used today and they do not want to accept the truth because it will jeopardize their political mileage. They use this idea that Hindi speaking community were Aryans while the Tamil speakers as Dravidians. They claim that these people are not from the same root despite many archaeological findings.

When there is a big temple like Thanjavur periya koil, a whole community was created around it so that they could live in a sustainable way. For example there would be lands owned by the temples, these lands would be given to agriculture, and after the produce, both the farmers and the temples share their profit. This way, the needs of the temple would be met and it creates employment. This is one example of how things worked those days.

These understanding between China and India is more firmed up than ever in the past. Stable China is good for India and Asia. Controlled India is the strategic need for China to sustain their vulnerable oil route. However Chinese factor had been articulated and seen as a threat to South Indian sovereignty by the indian media campaign. Meanwhile the ongoing militarisation in TN is a factor shud be address as quick as possible by the Tamil geopolitical scholars. Bearing in mind; In a case of a proxy war between China and India were to occur in TN region wiping out Tamilar tradisional homeland is enevitable and is obviously seem to be part of an Indian strategy. This is executable just by bombing the currently operating of the 1 oo 6 Nuclear Power plant at Koodankulam Possible Solution:- Campaign such as, thru dialogues in public forum, Pattimandram-intellectual discourse among the ppl regards to 1) Militarilisation TN Region 2) TN region is a nuclear time bomb. 'Thai' means 'mother' in Tamil. I know Thailand gets its name from one group of people who live there - But I've always wondered if that group's original name was somehow influenced by Tamil. A couple of other points related to the video: Sanskrit, Hindi, English all belong to the same language family - which makes Hindi closer to English than Hindi is to Tamil. Even today, although HIndi speakers call their language as 'Rashtriya Bhasha', India does not have a single national language. 22 languages are recgnized as official languages by the Indian constitution.

Why Tamils accepted English instead of Hindi? As a Tamilian how I see is, Hindi already started to spread across the country swallowing other regional and tribal languages in the North even before the Independence. After Independence when Indian Union government decided to put Hindi as a sole national language of the Country we Tamil people felt that if we allow this Tamil will also face the same fate that other regional and Tribal languages faced in the North and they not only pushing their language but also the culture. We people are rich in language, culture and history so we said If India can't make all the Indian languages as national language lets make English as associate official language. In that way we Tamil people can use our language happily in our boundaries and can connect with other parts of India and also to the other parts of the world. We fought not only for Tamil but for all the Indian languages. Because we love and respect our Mother Tongue. That's why we didn't accepted imposition of Hindi on us.

I am not favour in making hindi as national language but talking about your hindi swaling other tribal languages in North is just a ignorant comment . I am maharashtrian here we speak marathi with 100 of dialect and they are not dead due to hindi . In North india gujrat speaks it's own language ,rajasthan has its own language, punjab has its own language ,j&k has its own language, Bengal has its own language ,northeast states has their own languages but to connect each other hindi is most convenient language for north and northeast people's . I will only say that if there is any language in the south part of india which can connect the states which are in down south like Kerala ,tamilnadu etc then the people and states should pramote it with each other's support rather than opposing hindi .If this happened then the people of india will learn the 3 languages i.e their mother tongue ,hindi and one choosen south language rather than foreign english language .Because for south one can not learn 4 or 5 languages to work their or to travel their , rather than english we should have one language like hindi for southern part of india .

Mumbai is your capital but everything in their is only Hindi based, why? Even bollywood which functions in Mumbai is full of Hindi. How many schools their teach Marathi as a subject? Road signs, shops name board, advertising boards in maharashtra are in Marathi?? In punjab many people are still fighting against Hindi imposition. And ask yourself this question, how many percentage of people speaking Marathi in your state before and after Hindi became Official administrative language in India. In few decades there will be no Marathi in your state. In my state everywhere you go you will only see Tamil and English. Tamil for the natives and English for others states and county people. It's more easy this way. If we want to learn Hindi we will learn Hindi without any hesitation but why impose on us? Why make it compulsory? That's the question. You guys are saying make two doors one for the big dog to enter and another for the small dog to enter. But what we are saying is let the small dog use the big door too to enter. @@viveksivam543 as you said this man. Every state has all the things you said in their own state language. In my state Punjab, we speak Punjabi all the time. And we know Hindi too. Hindi is the simplified version of Sanskrit, so it's very very catchy to all and they they understand it well. And there is no imposition of culture. Every state has its own culture and still prevailing. Because Bharat is the land of different cultures but one civilization. In my opinion, the only problem I have with Hindi is it contains Urdu words. Which I hate. So I don't use them. Even the respectful great king of Tamil Nadu, Rajendra Chola has a Sanskrit name. Raj + Inder. It's just a very planned conspiracy played by Britishers. Because before them. Before them no one ever talked about differences. The thing I really bow down to Tamil people is that they preserved true teachings of Sanatana Dharma. And we are very thankful to the people and great kings of that time. Brother, our ancient Tamil history is only in our schools, it is not shared in North Indian schools. The union government project only the North Indian history. They want to hide the rest of the countries histories. They even steal the history, you should read about how they stole the Tamil princess Sempavalam history who went to Korea in 48 AD and how she influenced Korean culture. In Korean language they call Amma and Appa for mother and father and there are so many Tamil words. This union government in 2018 declared that princess was from Utter Pradesh princess and got 200 crores from korean government for building a temple for her in Ayodhya. She is from Ayuta kingdom which had two fish symbol in their flags. In ancient times the city was called Saketa, not Ayodhya. So that theory of her being Indian (Indo-Aryan) origin seems fundamentally flawed. Also the two fish symbol fish of UP was designed in 19th century based on 17th century nawab king symbol. Tamil Pandya kingdom existed more than 2000 years ago with two fish symbol.

The whole sending tamils as workers to other British colonies is basically the whole gist of enjoy enjaami song. Edit : Now that y’all got a glimpse of whats going on in Sri Lanka now you know why Tamils were against The family man and showcasing Tamil group as terrorists

They were not portrayed as terrorists, it was clear that they were rebels who were trying to get their rights, their freedom and if a sane mind is watching family man it will definitely empathize with them.
