Okay listen to this anecdote real quick, it’ll be fun: I was like 10 when my dad took us all to watch this movie in the cinema, I didn’t like it at all, pretended to fall asleep during the movie. 12 years later I realize now that this movie was actually pinching my emotions in a way that I did not like, was making me vulnerable, made me feel like crying at the moment as I was sensitive, just didn’t want to accept it, or living in denial. Now this movie hold movie holds a special in my heart, as it is this movie who unclogged my heart, figuratively of-course!

The people who you call 'radicals' are not radicals, they are simply following the book. Ofcourse, you say it talks about peace. It talks about peace which can be achieved when those who do not believe in the book are eliminated, by definition. And Im literally quoting the Book. @@essee3984 if you have taken the time to quote a phrase from a book, i hope you would also be able to read the whole paragraph, and in what context, the phrase was written. And, if you are referring an online platform to get a logical explanation of what quran says, you are in a wrong place. Its just hateful content and words taken out of context. My explanation for it would be (what i was thought)- there were different revelations made from time to time in quran, it accounts to 23 years. 20 years of peace and the rest 3 years, were from the time of war. The phrase 98.6 is from Al-Bayyanah, the time when prophet came to madinah, the worshippers of idols attacked him, but he remained patient. Since, these attacks were so often, they had to retaliate at some point and defend himself and his people and hence the phrase comes into picture. Quran is a guidance, talks abt past, present and future. Many phrases, refer to the events that occured in the past, doesn't necessarily mean that it implies to be take blatantly and has no general implication. And i am sure, hindu scriptures also talk about war. Our country's freedom struggle itself reflects 2 sides, one being non-violence and the other where people had to retaliate.
