Mr Carr. My name is MAJ(ret.) Jon Turnbull. My special operations team was attacked by a suicide bomber in January of 2019. The assassination attempt that killed 4 american heroes, and left me wounded and blind. Over my 2 year recovery at walter reed, i was gifted the terminal list. It helped me through the darkest of days and helped me how to live again. I found inspiration in your writings from how James overcame feelings of guilt from his loss of Freddie and his teammates. All this lead me to write my book “Zero Percent Chance” that highlights not the sacrifice of my 4 heroes, but how they lived. Listener question: I'm from Sweden (not Switzerland). I have some but limited military experience but no overseas deployements. In the military I've encountered some of the worst and some of the best leaders I've ever met. Would you have any advice on how Not to let my ego absolitely bury my positive leadership-experiences in the negatove leadership-experoences? And also, do you have any advice on how not to get overwhelmed and conaumed by negative thpught-patterns (in my case due to have completely lost hope in civilian leadership in coorporations where I work, which made me all but bitter)? Thx

Check out Blake Crouch sci fi he does horror and sci fi and thriller and everything .incredible wayward pines series must read it got picked up by fox by mnight shaumin but didn’t do it justice
