Both guys had radio shows and they made listening every bit as much fun as viewing.

I was born in 2002 and I love Jack Benny and George Burns. It's a shocker that those guys inspired me. And their from a way different genre than me

Being in my late 60s, I am a long time fan of all four comedians. It was good to see the genuine respect Tom and Dick gave to Jack and George.

Jack Benny (born Benjamin Kubelsky; February 14, 1894 - December 26, 1974) was an American entertainer, who evolved from a modest success playing violin on the vaudeville circuit to a highly popular comedic career in radio, television and film. He was known for his comic timing and the ability to cause laughter with a pregnant pause or a single expression, such as his signature exasperated "Well!"

If I remember right Jack Benny was on the radio too bad they stopped playing it so long ago. Made a person laugh. Jack and George two awesome guys. Rogechester or something like that.
Many of the Jack Benny shows can still be heard on Radio Classic shows. They can also be found on box sets of recordings. Google them and you can find them.

The death of George's close friend Jack Benny in 1974 unexpectedly precipitated Burns’s comeback when he took over the role intended for Benny in the screen adaptation of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys (1975).

George Burns, original name Nathan Birnbaum, (born January 20, 1896, New York, New York, U.S.-died March 9, 1996, Beverly Hills, California), American comedian who-with his dry humour, gravelly voice, and ever-present cigar-was popular for more than 70 years in vaudeville, radio, film, and television. He was especially known as part of a popular comedy team with his wife, Gracie Allen.
