How far ahead of the curve this show was. Brilliance for the 24 years it was on the air.

Mr. Benny's writers were really on the beam with this episode. This type of comedy was in vogue during the fifties. Nice to hear the audience giving Sister McQueen her props.

On a tour in the southern states, Jack and Rochester were driving together - the motel would NOT allow blacks to stay there so Rochester was not admitted. What did Jack do? Both he AND Rochester slept in the car!!!!!! Thats the kind of Man Benny was.

In real life, Benny made Eddie Anderson a star!

Eddie Anderson got rich playing Rochester. Jack Benny paid him huge money.

@@tomgrosemusic Well said and well put. Jack in real life was a very kind sweet generous person. When he treats Rochester grouchily on the program, he's just playing a character.
