I remember vividly being 7 years old in ‘82 and playing this with my dad for hours when he got laid off at the mill. We had the best times together, he just passed 2 years ago from a heart attack while getting a liver transplant. I miss him and my late mother so much. She died back in ‘02 from complications from a bone marrow transplant having leukemia. They were both the coolest parents

@@moceri55 I think I read somewhere that pitfall 1 had around 300 interconnected screens and you had 20 minutes to get to the last screen. Apparently if you went underground it would skip ahead 2 or 3 surface screens and that was the only way you could accomplish all screens in 20 minutes. I know I never succeeded. I don't think pitfall 2 had a time limit so maybe it never had an end... seems like I could find a safe spot and eat lunch then continue, until I died. Never made it to any end on pitfall 2 either.

That was my favorite game when I had Atari...and it was so simple two or three screens...aaah the good old 2600...life was so simple then...played it for an hour then back to my bicycle....I am so so so grateful to have been so lucky to have had the childhood that was given to me by god....great great parents... I miss them so much....I hope my own children feel the same about me one day...
