@gantos5072 The metrics aren't only vocals, and Jack's are excellent, btw. The metrics are an artist, an Idol, an entertainer, connecting with the audience, the ability to emote emotions to the listener, just to name some of them. It's music and artists, it's personal and subjective. Abi doesn't interest me. She's not unique to me. She sounds like another Kerry, Adele or Mariah. Amazing singer, knock-out vocals. I doubt that I will ever energies consider gong to see her live. Jack on the other hand has pretty much everything I am drawn to in an artist, including amazing vocals and use thereof. This is the point. It's never going to be a one-singer-fits-all. It doesn't exist, never has, never will. So yes, I vote with all these things in mind, as should everyone. Abi is stunning in every way, but I still prefer Jack every day of the year.

@@carinalindberg7377 I understand the metric isn't only vocals for many people, and I agree. But at the end of the day, it is a singing show, and vocals matter a lot. I have no problem if you want to factor in other aspects of the artist as well, I certainly do. Abi would not have been my number one choice of the season, that would be Mckenna or Kaibrienne, even though Abi is better vocally. Mckenna and KB sing with so much emotion and feeling, and it's easy to connect to them. But that's not enough on its own. In addition to their emotion and connection, they have incredible voices, and the combination of the two is what puts them over the top for me. Just entertainment or connection isn't good enough for me personally (unless we're dealing with an all-time great entertainer). So in my opinion, and you're welcome to disagree, even though Jack is very entertaining and knows how to connect with an audience extremely well, the gap in vocal talent is just too much to overcome. And this is not a knock on Jack at all. I'm a big fan of him, I think his voice is great. I had him over Will easily. But Abi is a monster vocally and he doesn't have enough to close the gap for me. Again, you're welcome to disagree, but I don't think his vocals are close to Abi's.

It has been really obvious that AI has been favoring Abi in everything. They had no business having Billie Eilish come on and Pusth Abi. I believe that that was totally wrong and also that Jack was getting cheering and the judges cut it off but when Abi was getting cheering they played it up. It was absolutely atrocious what those Judges did and the show did to Block Jack.

Billie didn't push anyone to vote, she just had a special message and they showed it so people could see the reaction, I thought it was very sweet and it made no difference on how I voted. Also, nobody cut off any cheering and the judges were very complimentary to him. I get you wanted him to win, but take that up with the voters or better yet.... Just support him and his career if you like him so much, no need to take everything so personal

It's not the judges; it's the producers. They control everything that goes on. I wanted Jack to win. The producers didn't. Many people said if another country boy wins, they would never watch Idol again. Jack and will split the country vote, though Will is more truly country. Still, those two knocked each other off, allowing Abi to win. But at least Abi has a beautiful voice, and IK think she'll go far. So will Jack. And I thing Will will do well, also. I will be buying Jack's music!

It was out of integrity that the judges cut off Jack's applause and nurtured Abi's applause and went on and on praising her applause. See how fast they come in to cut off the applause? Further bringing Billie Eilish on to endorse Abi was a low blow and favoritism. Definitely fixed and heavily influenced.

I am a Jack fan but wrong, wrong second song. It was not the time to play a fun song. I knew after hearing Will’s and Jacks it was not going to be Jack. Many potential voters only watch the final. Had jack saved the Willy Nelson song for the final it would have been a done deal for top two.
