The KG99 was used throughout Miami Vice as well, particularly in rhetoric beginning and end of the pilot episode. Glen Frey wielded one in Smuggler’s Blues.

First, nice video. Second, Big Trouble in Little China, unsung Masterpiece. Being old, I remember when the Tec-9 was around in the mid-80's. I shot one, thought it was junk. But now they are collectors items. Weird how that works.

I love the Rescue Rangers vibe of this movie. Jack is definitely the Dale of the bunch. 😋 14:45 That's me. 🤣

Big trouble was my favorite movie growing up. My spouse loves it too. So much fun!

Such an awesome movie, one of my favs. The Tec 9 is also the gun of choice of Lana Kane in the animated series Archer

You'd think she'd have better taste than that.

TEC-9 looks like a well shortened STEN sub-machine gun, doesn't it?
@hollywoodgunsКүн бұрын
Yeah, but the Sten might be cooler....!

I always thought Jack Burton’s terrible gun handling was part of his comedic charm. He’s an average Joe, everyman, and kind of a braggart who rises to the occasion!

Mac-11 9mm was better quality and more accurate. I fire my friend Tec-9. It was plague with problems and the headspace was off. Today I’m so glad Glock made 33rd magazine for its 9mm pistol.
@hollywoodguns2 күн бұрын
yup - It has a very spotty, year dependent, ammo dependent, mag dependent, etc reputation! Still cool as heck - So for that matter is the Mac series.

Any future videos on MP5?
@hollywoodguns8 сағат бұрын
Yes, I have a civilian version - The SP5. In my poll on the community tab I asked viewers what I should work on next and it was last place. I will get to it though and then I can do a Diehard Video!

Dumb question, but do you ever shoot any of the firearms you show on your channel?
@hollywoodguns17 сағат бұрын
Sure do. The channel guns are mainly collection pieces but everything comes out on a range day several times a year. The guns I shoot most frequently are WW1, WW2 and Cold War Battle rifles. I like Iron sights and shooting out to about 500yrds (I cant see much further without a scope) and I also shoot my AR10 out to about 800yrds, A LOT!
