Are you asking this question in all seriousness? Obama used to teach "Consitutional Law" at University of Chicago. It took Sara Palin 5 different colleges and 6 years to get an undergraduate in "Journalisim". Not that there is anything wrong with the major, it is evident in her interviews that she did not learn any thing.

The same passage in the Bible that says you shouldn't judge says "You will know them by their fruit." Also, immediately after it says "don't judge" (before "you will know them by their fruit") it says: "Take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Basically, judge yourself before you judge others, and you can know someone by their actions and words.

Okay, I realize my previous post would hinder discussion rather than engaging it. Let me explain myself: Americans are well aware of what the world thinks of them. Cafferty pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, assault and harassment after striking a cyclist and knocking him off his bike on May 14, 2003. The bicyclist was slightly injured. A traffic officer and several pedestrians ran after Cafferty's car, but he ran at least two red lights without stopping, according to a police complaint. Cafferty claimed he didn't know he hit the cyclist. So, Jack, why would you run two red lights??

Such a refreshing change, to have a smart president who does what we want doen, and takes decisive action to rectify the economy and cover everyone under healthcare, which has been trying to get done since Harry Truman. When Social Security and MEDICARE was trying to be passed, in the 1930s, and 1960s, the opponents decried it as "socialism". Healthcare is a BASIC RIGHT, not a privelege of the super-rich, or well-connected.

Jack Cafferty didn't utter a single syllable of criticism against Palin in this segment. He paraphrased the exact quotes from a conservative columnist. The only part of this piece that contained Cafferty's own words is the very end when he mentions McCain's poor judgement, and then cites two very specific examples. The fact is that Obama shouldn't have had a chance to win this election. If McCain would have chosen a more qualified republican to run with (there are many),he'd be president today.

I think that the fact that anyone would even consider Sarah Palin for ANY public office says something very scary about the state of our country today. I wish that our citizens would stop hiding behind their political party and put some effort into researching the facts about politicians and vote based on the candidate that they believe will do the best job regardless of party. Also, I wish we could all come together to strengthen our country instead of dividing it.

After Bush no one should ever again complain about the press being too hard on a politician. The similarities between Palin and Bush are striking. These people have to be exposed before they get into office, and the media is the institution best suited for the job. If the last 8 years teach us anything, it should be that we cannot let lightweights run the country. Hopefully Palin will serve as a warning to future pols not to stray outside their natural weight class.

Latest Palin problem according to AP, 10-25-08-- questions surrounding the bidding process on the gas pipeline. It appears the company who won the bid had ties with Palin, that other companies with better bids were not considered, and that the company that got it received a multi million dollar subsidy when they didnt have the financing to do the job. Story just broke, so much to be confirmed and clairified.

There is a big, BIG difference between having the best healthcare and people in this country being able to AFFORD that healthcare. You think we can all afford to go to a mayo clinic in this country? Her job as a governor is to do the best for her state, which means getting as much fuding as she can. We are talking about two diff arenas. If as a governor she refuses money that gets sent to her by her Senators/Congressmen it would be disastrous. Money received can always get put to some good use it is a matter of priorities. Tell me the last Governor that turned away money being sent by the feds to their state. Congress's Job is to make sure the money sent is needed and well spent.

If you're going to use a word like contranym, you should at least know it's definition.
