I’ve tried a million times or more to catch a fish in the surf and still without any success. Can you give me some tips pls.

Instead of a constant retrieve try twitch the bait, stop n pause it, sometime reel slow especially when it reach the shore where you about to take it out the water. If the water is clean look for the spots that are dirty or murky, fish will tend to hide there

How deep is that water you fishing in?

it was very shallow because when the sea calm at that spot its full of sand, probably about 3' - 4'
