Jack has done well for Aston Villa in the past, and again in his second season for Manchester City, but he hasn't scored many goals or made many assists. He is a playmaker but not a finisher, and his role is to create opportunities for his teammates, so his role is sometimes not fully reflected in the statistics. His excellent passing against Crystal Palace gave City a 4-2 win, and he didn't get any goals or assists, but can you say he didn't play well? I think Jack proved himself last season, even if he didn't score, he would still play a big part. He was originally a midfielder and came to Manchester City in a left-sided role, which is obviously not what he is used to. You could say he can't play in as many positions as Phil Foden, but I think if Pep played him in midfield he would be better than he is now. I'm sure Pep followed Jack's game at Villa before he signed him in '21. He knew Jack was not a good scorer, but he chose to spend 100 million euros to sign Jack, which is already telling. This season he has suffered injuries and home invasions that have hurt him and his family, which has also affected his play on the field. He has only started 10 league games this season, but in those 10 games, rarely played the full 90 minutes, despite that, he has contributed three goals and one assist, although the statistics are not good, but in such limited playing time with injuries, I think he has done the best he can. I'm sure he'll be back next season!

City fan here, im very disappointed with Jack this season, his first season, he was poor imo, but i didn't mind he was trying to get settled in, second season he was very good, ESPECIALLY from Feb - May, he was brilliant, however this season, hes been poor, and Peps called him out a few times. I think, in all honesty He'll be out. He should've kicked on, but Doku has been better, and Doku is much younger too.

When you combine that with money to buy any player you want, you get man city, or teams like real madrid.
