As an older brother who treated my brother like this I gotta say this song hits hard. I do miss hanging out with my little bro, but I was too busy getting into trouble and doing drugs to tell him that I loved him still. After I OD'D and spent years locked up I still haven't had the chance to tell him. Mainly cause I fear about what he thinks of me now. Sober and in college now, I still miss those days greatly

I cant remember the last time a song made me burst in tears. I will cherish this song and remember this moment for the rest of my life. I am speechless at how this song makes me feel as I'm bawling my eyes out while typing this. As a older brother I beg that you don't ever get distant with your little brother. I never had a problem with my brother but when I was starting highscool at 14 I stopped hanging out with my 11 year old brother and did not really talk to him much or give him advice on growing up. we lived in the same househould for over a decade and never really had a real relationship. I cant help but feel how disappointed and abandoned he felt that suddenly one day someone that he looked up to just stopped talking to him. I am 28 years old now and me and my brother speak more often these days as we both are huge basketball fans and talk about sports all the time. I do not know where im going with this as I don't ever post comments on youtube and I'm horrible at explaining things but I hope you guys have a blessed day, im going to call my brother now.

I love how personal and intimate he made this album. I know from an artist's perspective it takes so much courage to open up and touch on risky subjects and personal vulnerabilities. Being at the top of the industry he could've so easily just played it safe and flexed. Shout out to all the musicians producing real raw art (which is my mission too) and big shout to the listeners who take time out of their day to connect with it and enjoy it!

When I first heard this song last week, it was a gloomy day driving into work and all I remember by the end of the song was me tearing up, reminiscing about my childhood with my older brother. Not once did he make me feel like I wasn't wanted, but it made me feel so sad for those who did feel like this way at one point. Each verse of the track was a different perspective and even hearing the older brother/dad's POV gave me some insight on the struggles they each were going through being in the same household. Best track of the album by far, really shows Jack's vulnerable side.

Ngl, I listened to this at 11:30pm last night after the album release and man, this song really hit me. I started tearing up and shit. The bond I share with my older brother is one that I value the most, and the way my father affected it was so close to what was described in this song. Shelved feelings were being let out last night for sure.

haven’t had a song make me cry like this in a while… my little brother has autism and is 3 years younger than me so it’s hard to have a relationship with him to say the least. when i got to middle school i just stopped trying, and i was always angry at him for no reason, and it made me so upset but i never changed. i now realize that anger was the anger i projected because my dad always made me know i didn’t do anything right and he made me feel worthless. now i don’t have a relationship with my brother or my dad. the amount this song describes my situation is crazy to me. thanks jack 🙏

Devastante.

Wow, what an amazing song. It touched me to tears. My oldest stepson (16) is always teasing and picking on his little brother (14). Making fun, name-calling, doesn't want to be seen with him in public. His father and I are always getting after him about the way he treats his little brother and how he needs to do better and be a role model. This really touches home not because I have been through it as a sibling but because I witness it between my stepchildren. Breaks my heart.

i have an older brother and hes moving out in about two months, it didnt hit me till this week and my frantic trying to reconnect doesnt seem to work after not having a solid relationship for at least 4 years. this hit hard and made me wonder if he misses our friendship and hates that it dissolved too. i just hope he doesnt blame himself.
