im 22 years old and about to graduate college in a week from today. to be honest, i’ve been kind of in a funk about it. ive had an amazing time here but i cant help but have so many regrets, feeling like i didnt do enough, didnt achieve as much as i should have. time seems to be speeding up at an incomprehensible rate. i dont have a job lined up because this economy sucks, and im scared. its just been a very bittersweet experience and i cant believe its real. i never thought id say this but here I am listening to a Jack Harlow song and it’s actually touching me and making me feel a little more calm. I’m graduating in May. I am excited but like you, feel I did not do enough. Part of me blames the pandemic, it made my sophomore and junior years basically nonexistent besides online work. But if there’s one thing you cannot change, it’s the past. Try not to focus so much on the past and the what ifs, that you forget about the present and what you can do today. Youll get a job lined up. You got this. Just continue applying to plenty of jobs and be flamboyant about what you have to offer.
