Bryson was lucky to get on this song. This was all Jack’s undertaking, including meeting in Louisville in 2018 with Static’s widow, who specifically reached out to Jack due to the way he so overtly and proudly tried and still tries to put on for the city. Bryson took forever to get back to Jack with his part...he’s lucky Jack is so damn loyal and reverent. Most other artists would’ve found a sufficient replacement for Tiller in half a second, no cap.

Do your research. There’s a common denominator for these 3 artists and their coexistence on this same track. 502 is the clue. Furthermore, Jack’s 2 shorter verses and Tiller’s abbreviated verse, in combination with the beat change-up, makes this a worthy update of sorts to Static’s classic original. This song’s sample, as liberal as you may want to deem it, is still respectful of the source bc, literally, its use was blessed by Static’s widow (who also lives in Louisville) and Jack and Bryson wanted to make a classic of their own with their caps tipped to the legend who came before them and had paved the way for a town that had seen little to no national traction prior to Static’s ascent. Context is always key and somehow it seems to always get lost. Regardless, there ya go. Now proceed in nitpicking away...at least you’ll now be informed in your limp-dicked small-mindedness!!
