Something I really appreciate about Jack is that he is articulate. So many times we rarely get to hear the actual thoughts of these artists because of the extra curricular things they do at home. I can appreciate that Jack is in his true form when he is interviewed. The finesse of this man is off the charts.

I can’t disagree with the Jack having a gift for words part, but this comment left me uncomfy.
@xoxobrialee2 жыл бұрын
@@Luis-er3wn why? Because he is articulate? Black and Brown rappers are and can be just as articulate HOWEVER, a lot of their choices of doing heavy drugs, drinking, etc causes severe speech delay and brain function causing them to not articulate their words. Jack has stopped using substances so that he can be his best self for himself and for his fans. I will forever give the flowers to the artists who lead by example and are dope as hell. Sorry, but his skin color is the least interesting part about him.

Best Jack Harlow interview hands down. A reoccurring personal trait Jack has brought up on this press run is his “need for control”. Which I was immediately reminded of during the closing of this interview, when they touched on his desire for power. When someone is in power they are inevitably in control also. Interesting how much of his success and drive stems from his “control issue” which he has labelled it as in prior interviews. Seems one his “issues” is also his greatest strength.

I watched this interview when it first came out and after a lot of the online hate that he’s been getting, I came back looking for specific comment that he made in this interview. I finally found it and it starts at 42:20 . “Jack Harlow’s the likable guy, but there’s going to be a point where they turn on me”…”Inevitably, that’s what happens”.. WOW!! Regardless of the hate, I hope that this brother is enjoying the fruits of his labor and being grateful for his recent success. Mid-album or not (which is subjective), he’s passionate about his craft and has paid his dues and invested alot into his rap career before mainstream success. Folks can call his album trash, but if I were him, I would be sitting proud of having a solo number Billboard song and my highest first week album sales. Regardless of all the analysis and critiques, a win is a win, and for him, it didn’t just happen overnight.
