This was one of those times that the UFC set up a card to be a springboard for a fighter, and it didn’t work out. Joe Pyfer was doing every interview and every podcast for weeks now, telling us all again and again, “I came from nothing.” Probably less media next time, and more treadmill. Fantastic performance by Jack. So impressively broke Pyfer down, until Jack was on top beating him down at the end.

At the end of the second round Jack took over and dominated the rest of the fight. Joe said before the fight this fight would make him a superstar and I don’t believe it would have even if he won. But it really didn’t happen after he got it poured on him the last 17 minutes straight.

Be Joe Pyfer! I had it 48-47 for Pyfer but it is what it is. We don't make excuses but Jack only "won" because of that little calf kick and it looks like Joe had a bad weight cut as well.
