Jack Jones has had a busy year. He formed the "supergroup" the Fabulous Caprettos with Russell Morris, Rai Thistlethwayte and Daryl Braithwaite, he has filled in the shoes of the great Stuart Fraser in Noiseworks and he will join Russell Morris, Robin Laou and Steve Balbi for a tribute to the Sgt Pepper album.
Russell Morris, Jack Jones, Steve Balbi & Robyn Loau will perform The Beatles classic ‘Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album accompanied by a 24-piece orchestra, conducted by George Ellis, along with a 7-piece band in Sydney and Melbourne in May.

The Fabulous Caprettos? Meaning is The Baby Goats. Why is Irwin growing a beard and starting to look like Abraham Lincoln these days? Who came up with this goat of a name? Was it Russell Morris who decided they would be baby goats? When are Southern Sons getting back together to record a new album? I hope that they will record some new material by Phil Buckle, and Virgil Donati is in the line up playing drums. Will Irwin be sounding like John Farnham again and will they do a song dedicated to Farnham now that he cannot perform no more?
