Thank you for the wisdom. "In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly." ~ Baha'u'llah, The Hidden Words

Jack is a wonderful teacher, and these recordings are helping through some difficult times. But I'm perplexed by the story of the woman in the airport with the bag of cookies, because it can be found in one of the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" books ( I forget which one), with only slight modification. What is going on here? I'm probably being ridiculous, but it bugs me!

I was wondering about the same thing. I am quick to give Jack the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe he just remembered the story wrong and or mixing two memories. Funny how in that very story he says that the mind is unreliable and it has no pride. :)

Jack is a collector and teller of stories. They are not original to him (though a few may be. ) They still make valuable points.
