It's so hard to forgive yourself for literally anything. It must be because we think we know better. I caught myself thinking "can i forgive myself" like "is that an option?" lol! Mindfulness is a great journey and I'm excited to keep learning and realizing more.

"To the extent that I am ready, I forgive you...." Whoosh! Tears rolled down my face saying this....the work continues.🙏. 😑. 🇨🇦

Well done! When tears roll down our faces we are on the mend... and let's not forget we are only forgiving ourselves and others for being possessed of human frailties... what a beautiful meditation...

The great thing is letting go of fear, rage, frustration....forgiveness means this to me in this moment. Great practice. Hi from Italy.

I like that he’s right to the point and doesn’t spend a lot of time trying to explain everything. This allows for one to come to their own guidance. Thank you!

It is incredible to realize slowly to what extent you have been running away from your heart and soul. How much work you have in front of you to heal the wounds you inflicted to the world around you, to yourself and what wounds other people inflicted onto you. And to realize how these 3 dimensions are all the same. If you hurt the world (people and nature, also the same), you hurt yourself. If you hurt yourself, you hurt the world. If others or nature hurts you, they hurt themselves. This is such a key realization, if more people would understand this with their heart, peace and harmony would be brought to this realm. But we have forgotten about the truth, we have forgotten about the oneness of all things. Misinterpretated are the words and actions of wise men and women, misinterpretated are the words of prophets. I felt the resistance in all dimensions, there is so much work ahead of me…

It was not until I did the meditation, did I realize how much I needed to forgive my perceptions of others, and also forgive myself. Thank you, Jack. I intend to make this a practice, a living one.

That was moving, forgiving is so healing , both others & self. I didn't really didnt think to considered self forgiveness. The whole thrust of forgiveness in a cultural of Christianity is to look for forgiveness , & forget a major step, self acceptance.

This was perfect. I needed these words and now I feel so much lighter. It is best for us not to hold on to resentment. It can be hard, but it will lessen the load immensely

We all carry unforgiven memories and hurt, unfortunately. We yearn to let it go and wonder how? Today, sit quietly for a few moments and let Jack Kornfield's soothing voice guide your heart to forgive. Love yourself and others fully. I pray you find peace in your heart!

Wow. wow. I recently played a boxer who was molested by his trainer during his childhood in a feature film. The film follows his recovery process and the power that he gains from forgiving his former trainer. See it here---->"Box Of Forgiveness"
