Lemmon actually got a lot of flak for his brief appearance in the Branagh "Hamlet," although the film overall is a true gem. I love a number of his performances, but unfortunately the role he played in "Hamlet" really didn't suit him.

Bryan Criddic Nevertheless, he had the admiration of the greats involved with that production and clearly made they're experience on the film richer for having him be present. Quite a compliment indeed.
