I’m from Conyers as well and that syphilis thing is no joke 😂 The Lost Children of Rockdale County, look it up it’s insane. Sidenote: this was in the 90s and Conyers has changed drastically since then. It’s only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta so it’s really not that small town like he makes it seem .

I'm from Georgia but I assumed Brunswick stew was a fairly well-known dish around the country. FYI: it's a tomato-broth based stew with beans, vegetables and meat (usually pork, sometimes beef or game meat) that sorta tastse like a smokey bbq in stew form.

What you saw wasn't the "weewoo weewoo" "grammar" police, more like the SPELLING-of-surnames-"police"!(spelling, not "grammar".) there is a difference. I was simply stating that his surname is spelled McBrayer, not McBrayer's. E.g. his name is Jack, but nobody with even an ounce of common sense would say "Jack's cracks me up.", thus logically it's 'Jack cracks me up.' hence the first example in my first comment. I don't know whether it's a lack of education, a lack of brain cells, or a simple condition commonly referred to as 'no attention to detail'...(or all 3 types of deficiencies) but going back to high school(until completion) indubitably would help out in those specific areas.
