I like how Jack Nicholson’s character expresses his crazy, sarcastic outbursts within the first ten minutes of the film, instead of a gradual buildup and climatic outburst in the second half of the film. It’s a unique, genius way to set the tone for the movie.

Goodness, that line by Jack Nicholson at minute 2:15, of it's own, deserves an Oscar🙂It really cracked me up, and I get the feeling that it was Jack Nicholson himself, who introduced that line, making fun of Cuba Gooding Jr./Black People, into the movie script🙂I'm referring to when Nicholson refers to Gooding as "a coloured man," Greg Kinnear then asks Nicholson "Which colour was that?" and Nicholson answers "Like thick molasses, with a broad nose, perfect for smelling trouble in prison food"🙂Regards, Michael M.
