Thank you for sharing your memories and most of all thank you Sir. for your service to our country. without all the service men and women who served during WWII we would be speaking German. Thank you to all the young men and women who served and are still buried in Europe or Japan. All of you are true heroes that will not be forgotten. truly still the greatest generation.

I've recieved items from veterans for free or very cheap because they trust and have faith in me cherishing and caring not only for their items, but their story. I use the items as a vessel to tell their story. I've met vets like Jack who've said that they've been offered good money for items, but knew someone just wanted it cause of its value and cared little for their story. Vets don't want to be forgotten and feel their items are more than just nice artwork or patches. They had them or wore them during very impactful moments in their lives

So sorry this American hero had to go so soon. His sacrifice will never be equaled. If he had to go I'm glad that he was able to miss out on the covid crisis. I can just imagine what he might have said. Maybe it might have been where is their faith in their own health? Love cast out all fear.
