@@zeropoint546 I have my first leather jacket. It’s mid range distressed racer/cafe racer jacket. My old ass looks pretty good in it. I just returned a shearling jacket I got my wife. She is so cold natured, but she did not like the bulkiness, and the offset zipper. We went on eBay, and found a barely used Harley racer jacket, that’s rather tastefully done, as some of their jackets can be a little tacky. She does not have a decent jacket.

I’m unable to wear wool and fleece for multiple reasons, and it isn’t an optimal look for me anyway, so it’s not a huge loss for my wardrobe. I do, however, tend to prefer sheepskin over other types of leathers, and I both look and feel amazing in a well-fitted black sheepskin leather jacket. As for shearling jackets, I’m comfortable as an admirer of those who can pull off the look, including you, Antonio. 🖤

Another great episode. I've owned four of these in the past two decades. They are absolutely worth the investment. I currently own a chocolate brown shearling with black fur. The hood is detachable. The shearling I had prior is black with black and gray fur. I currently use that one for shoveling. The bomber style is a classic. I found a high end designer 3/4 length (kinda like a pea coat) but it was comparable to a mortgage payment... It was very nice, in an overcoat style. Beautiful piece. Last note, in addition to it keeping you warm and looking stylish, you really are the only one in a room with one on. I've been able to wear mine with jeans, slacks and even over a suit.

Hi, nice to meet such a leather jackets lover! Four shearling jackets in the past two decades, that is very much! But I am not much worse, I have worn 3 leather jackets, now I am having one shearling and one black lamb leather. What kind of fur do your jackets have? Do you mean the shearling fur, or is it combined with other animal´s fur (rabbit...)?
@atvega711 ай бұрын
@lukasbejcek8841 Mine have all been lambskin and wool (traditional shearlings, bomber style). The exterior finish have all been suaded. I don't care much for the hardened finish. I typically have taken mine in for restoration after its 3rd year. They get cleaned, re die, etc. Totally worth the investment as each coat has lasted me years. My current coat is going on 6 years and only this year, the handle to the zipper of my hood has broken. It's a very easy fix. I absolutely love ny shearling.

@@atvega7 Thanks, bud. I like the combination, one light leather jacket for warmer weather and the warm shearling-fur jacket for winter. So, I can walk in leather for a nice part of year. I love leather, it is a natural material and suits every man very much. And I wear winter boots with real lamb fur inside and lamb leather outside, they are also great and keep my foots in warm and in the absolute comfort. And yes, shearling jackets are very distinctive and give us a masculine look. When I come to a group of men, I notice that one who is wearing something like this at the first sight! And the same experrience on myself. People have a great admiration for it - although I have also met a vegan who said: "Poor lambs" 😁 Stupid folks. I also love the details on the natural leather, the folds, the leather patina... I would never wear faux leather, the lamb skin is a must-be. I am so pleased to have met you, bud! Be faithful to leather and shearling and feel freee to write any thoughts on leather or tips!

Wanted a B3 since I was a kid. I was finally able to get one in 2006 from Lost Worlds. The quality is amazing and well worth the money. BUT... if you get a jacket like that, at the quality level Lost Worlds makes you need to be committed to it and really want it. It's everything it was meant to be and nothing less. Made to be a work jacket to keep you warm at 25k+ ft. and be durable.... which translates to it's EXTREMELY warm....anything more than a t-shirt underneath and you'll be too hot, most of the time, even when it's very cold out you won't even need to zip it up to keep warm. When winter comes you'll be praying for bad weather and extreme temps just so you can get a chance to wear it...also, it's so stiff it's like wearing a straight jacket. Your movements are very restricted in it... forget about trying to drive a vehicle wearing it, you can barely turn the wheel in the full motion you may need and you can't turn to look over your shoulder etc.. It's also very heavy.... if you travel during the winter with it on an airline it almost needs its own seat, forget about putting it in the bin above your seat you'll most likely have to hold it in your arms the entire flight or stand it up on the floor between your legs.... and if you travel with a backpack you'll have to carry it or take the jacket off and carry it under your arm to be able to wear your backpack. Wearing it into town, to the office, out to dinner or to walk the dog is not going to break this thing in... You've got to really do physical work to break it in, and if you do... all that time will be frustrating as **ck and will be harder than it needs to be because the leather is so stiff and you'll be fighting to get the movement you need... and most people are not going to want to wear a jacket that costs as much and is as beautiful as Lost Worlds are to do that type of work in even though that's what it's made to do. After 18 years mine is still not broken in. Have had a chance to wear it in a few bad Boston and Bavarian winters, shoveling snow etc, but unfortunately not enough as soon after I got it, and since I have been working in tropical locations and barely get to the USA or Europe during winter. Regardless of all the above, I love the jacket, am glad I got it, and would not even think of buying one anywhere else other than Lost Worlds. My brother has a few of their jackets and the quality is amazing on all of them.

My parents got me my first sheepskin coat when I was 16-17yrs old. I don’t remember the exact year but it was prior to 1965. It was made by McGreggor and was real sheepskin (shearling) throughout. Unfortunately it was left somewhere and lost. Over the years a few more shearling coats came and went including one from the Cockpit, a NYC purveyor of vintage flying gear for us posers of fashion. I felt above it all as my father and uncle had been early aviators from the 20s and 30s and military pilots during WWll and probably had a collection of all the original high altitude gear needed back in the day. I still have a couple of shearling pieces but have found the old style military sheepskin flying jacket of WWll a bit too much for today’s trendy society… that is unless your flying an old Stearman biplane

If you're going to shop for shearling bomber jackets why not just go to the source? The first company to put a zipper on a jacket *IN THE WORLD* was Schott NYC. They fabricated and supplied U.S. aircrews during both wars, and they still craft them today. I personally own several of their jackets and they're outstanding. Even the zippers glide with precision. In my opinion they have no peers. Even if a customer has a custom design they'd like to own (Blade Runner 2049) they'd be happy to accommodate after taking your measurements. Do they cost more? Yes. But they're built to last with premium materials. Cheers!🍺

Kennedy, and specifically, Resident Evil 4. The game was released in 2005 for the GameCube, and further popularized by the awesome 2007 Wii release. Leon absolutely killed it in that game, proving to the consummate, stylish tough guy. He literally made that jacket, and made me do everything to look it up, buy it, and wear it proudly. I have one but unless you sitting in b52 or walking in Siberia it's kind of worthless. Too bulky comparing to modern options. Super heavy too. It's basically designed to keep you warm in very cold spaces with minimum movement, like old airplane. Too hot for the car. Thing of the past.

Tom Hardy is definitely the man but let’s not forget the OG Sylvester Stallone, when he won against Drago in Rocky 4 when he trained in the Bomber jacket that was referred to in NYC as the Rocky jacket

I was expecting Capcom to be this video's sponsor.

I like leather jackets just hard to find one that fit either arms too long or chest too tight. I would like to have bigger on the shoulder and shorter on the arm but most of them just terrible lengths.

Are you even adressing the title or is it clickbait? Non of your timestamps mention the content of your video title?
