Baby Hotline has my favorite metaphor ever. The line “She’s a hoarder of quarters.” Is supposed to represent her avoiding phone calls (presumably like suicide hotlines) in reference to pay phones that cost quarters to use.

Ok ima explain baby hotline. So many think its about a woman calling a suicide hotline. And I once saw that with this theory that she was in a abusive relationship. So hoarder of quarters can mean two things either for her calls or for her partners addiction. You should really listen to the full version! I’m Pretty Sure Cheeseburger Family is about an American Family and Something About Obesity. It Makes More Sense If You Saw The Extended Version. This Theory is accepted in many places like reddit and KZbin. Jack Never Actually Said the meaning of the song, but he never says the meaning of his songs, so all we can we really do is just speculate.

or maybe similar to melanie martinez's song "dollhouse", about a perfect family that's secretly falling apart but pretends like their fine to the public. the whole cheeseburger thing maybe references the average, perfect american life/family, since cheeseburgers are seen as the staple of american food. my theory will make a whole lot more sense if you listen to the longer song.

The origin of Baby Hotline is actually about a real suicide incident. A girl in 2016 was put on hold on the suicide prevention line and by the time they called her back she had already khs.

9:18 Baby Hotline The song is about someone very close to him and how she committed suicide after the suicide prevention hotline put her on hold, the person was probably taking drugs and drinking alcohol because whe was probably depressed and thought of committing suicide leading her to call the suicide prevention hotline, them putting her on hold, and her committing suicide. Much later I guess he made the song in tribute to her and her life that was cut short by herself

⚠️ WARNING: my theory on baby hotline includes suicide and depression, please dont read this if that triggers you ⚠️ Baby hotline, to me, is about a man mourning the death of his pregnant wife who killed herself due to a miscarriage. The man thinks she’s still alive so feeds her as “baby snack time” so hes saying its snack time. Also, “hoping that the pills let you cry” and “i can sense somebody will die and i hate moping” sort of backs up my point. Another point to back me up was “baby flatline” a non beating heart for the baby and his wife. “A hoarder of quarters” could suggest that shes hiding quarters about the house as a ghost or she didnt call any / pay any therapists whilst dealing with her suicidal thoughts surrounding the miscarriage.

I think tea errors is about two things 1: So jack and his girlfriend went on a date but he was diving and he got in a crash and had to go to the hospital and get his teeth replaced and that’s why there was lights were he was sitting 2: The same thing but instead he was at the hospital as a ghost and unplugged him self and turned into a glitch Thanks for reading please send it around

For the song cheeseburger Family, I have a theory. In the full song I feel like it’s describing a family in an ad for cheeseburgers. Because in the full song there’s a line that says “Say grace! Move on.” It sounds like a command, almost like somebody is directing what the family is supposed to be saying. And for the song baby Hotline this is a bit of a stretch and I’m not sure if it’s true because I’ve seen other theories that are much better than this but I made up and idk if it’s true but here we go. a boy and a girl or on the phone and the girls in the car. The boy in the girl we’re calling each other and the girl wasn’t paying attention. After a few lines in the song, you can hear repeated crashes almost like car crashes. My theory is that the girl wasn’t looking where she was driving and got into a car accident. The boy wasn’t aware of this so he kept calling her but she wouldn’t pick up. That might be why it said “hoarder of quarters” resembling that she wouldn’t pick up the calls. all the boy knew was that he heard a crashing sound and she wasn’t picking up any of his calls after calling her over and over again. And after not getting any sort of responses from her for days and days on end, he starts getting depressed and takes pills to help him cope because he believes that she is dead but she is. But he dose not know for sure. The reason why I think this is because in the song he says. “Wishing that the pills let you cry and I hate coping” and also the line that says”one say I will go back out side and see her ok” I think that means that he will commit suicide and hoping that he will see the girl in the afterlife. So in 2013/2016 a woman called suicide hotline, but they put her on hold, when they called her back, she had already killed herself She liked to collect quarters When it says "someday I will go back outside and see you ok" was her husband thinking that he will see her outside collecting quarters, when it says" the pills let you cry" Is her husband taking drugs to cope with his wife's death

I think baby hotline is about a person dealing with a significant other who has a terminal illness. I see a lot of people talk about the line "she's a hoarder of quarters" to me, in his mind he's worried that she's not communicating with him about how she feels. "I insist somebody will die and I hate hoping" he knows she gonna die and a part of him actually hopes she dies, either to end her suffering or because he can't deal with the stress. "Someday I'll go back outside and see her ok." He tries telling himself she'll get better or that he knows he'll see her again one day. Oh and tea errors is about the struggles and Terrors of a relationship, and how sometimes it can be to much for people to handle and makes them nervous or distant. A surprising amount of his songs seem to be able love or relationship, and baby hotline and tea errors kinda go hand in hand. I also kinda find it cool in baby hotline extended version, it mentions cinnamon which related to the song candy eyes another love song. Again these are never confirmed and all just my interpretation!
