But how would you know ? People say oh this and that the odds are people who become successful and write books and work become good So in this way of thinking you will think no one can become good ever if you don't give a chance You cant win all the time it is what it is most times people who go that far do good So they should never ever give anyone a chance because we should always think because someone wrote a book or worked or did well will become bad? Show me a solution it's dumb to think this way to say oh we are stupid we let him go In this case we won't let anyone go even good people because they will become bad correct ? It doesn't make sense this thinking it's called lazy thinking and just speaking from your azz

And especially the circumstances of his first murder. That wasn’t just some fit of romantic passion, that was some Ted Bundy type stuff. And he was 24 at the time, his brain fully developed. Just too risky to roll the dice on whether or not a person like that is truly rehabilitated. You may have 49 out of 50 killers go back and live normal productive lives, but get it wrong once and you release some psycho who takes more innocent lives. Hopefully they learned from this case and updated their laws for releasing killers.

@Eltanin25
@Eltanin25 Жыл бұрын
@@GigiWright In my country the life sentence also means at least 20 years before there is a possibility of probation, the problem is, that it's very hard to get it (the life sentence, I mean). But once you do and it's for a violent crime, then the 20 years is almost a formality, because they most probably won't let you out. At least there was no such case yet. Only one guy who got life for a murder for hire was released, but that was on a presidential clemency and he is unlikely to reoffend, as he earned loads of money in prison (from books and movies etc., he's quite popular). But as I said, life sentence is quite hard to get in my country. And a normal sentence for murder is 12 to 18 years (with the possibility of parole after 2/3). But we still have lower murder rate than USA, so you don't need high sentences to have a low crime rate.

The thing that always blows me away about these cases is how surprised investigators and the general public are that these true psychopaths present as being so "normal" in everyday society. Ummm, that's literally part of the diagnosis. The fact that they live such outwardly normal lives in public while being so depraved in private is what defines them as psychopaths. It's always the charming ones that are the most dangerous because they don't have to hide I do NOT believe that true socio- and psychopaths can be "reformed". They do not experience emotions the same as the rest of us. They do not comprehend right and wrong like the rest of us. They literally don't see a problem with what they're doing. The very few who do seem to express regret are likely doing so because they've learned throughout their years that those are the emotions that people expect to see in situations like that, not because they actually feel it or even understand what it means

There is a common denominator with dangerous people like this one : we as a society, believe that they can be fixed. That reality is that we can not truly do that and we all, somehow, pay the price. This man was designated as a dangerous person right from the beginning, by qualified psychiatrists and probably by the warden and prison staff. Even though, political decisions were made based on the support this monster got from the intellectual community. Now, try to picture somebody, while in prison, who goes through training on metal , leather work or even baking. Would they have had the same outcome (coming out of prison before their time, that is) if they excelled in those trades?. Most probably not, and that shows how our societies see this so called intellectuals as pillars of our societies, simply because they "have a way with the language", as in this particular case. Being good at any trade it is as good, if not better, than being completely unproductive by having a "special mind set to see life in a brighter way". Please, go away and criticize this comment, I dare you. This creature fooled everybody simply because we do love to be fooled on account that people who can impress with their art or ability to convince us with words and are the ones whom sell crappy pieces of art for millions of dollars, or run our societies to extinction by convincing all of us that they know better than anybody else. Nothing new under the sun, it is been happening for millennia and it might take another one, if it is not too late. This monster found out that he wasn't "the star' that he has been for a while and decided to kill himself simply because he wasn't the center of attention anymore. In any case he is gone for good and probably we have learned something, hopefully, out of this tragic events. Greetings from Toronto.

I worked at a State Hospital/ PRISON. The psychopaths always intrigued me. True… they are highly intelligent….brilliant even. So methodical. Still, They all seem to get caught for the same reasons. They get bored, use the same MO, stick w the same tried and true signature, etc. BUT, it never ceases to amaze me that most carry a murder/ rape bag containing duct tape, ski mask, ice pick, rope, etc. NOT JUST THAT, they also keep souvenirs from the victims. Photos or recordings of said devious act, a DL licenses, jewelry, a chunk of hair… Basically ALL the proof needed to bust them in one backpack. They literally put all their eggs in one basket. Then to top it off, they revisit the place of the murder. It just seems so strange that a murderer w such an IQ never thinks 🤔 Maybe I should ditch all this evidence. A first grader would know better.

Think how many lives would be saved if we did away with "life" sentences and went back to the good old-fashion death penalty. Once someone has murdered, there is no going back. Those who ordered his prison release should be charged with aiding and abetting the subsequent murders he committed. It is time we hold responsible those prison officials and authorities who release then sub-human back into society.

When they let someone out early for murder, whoever let him out should have to serve jail time for any future murders. I said that one time and someone said no one would serve on parole boards then. I said GOOD!. I don't even understand parole. If you get life, you serve life. If you get 30 years, you serve 30. People say there aren't enough prisons to keep everyone in for their full terms. BUILD MORE PRISONS!

“They can change.” Give me a break. Why don’t you go ahead release them into YOUR house, around YOUR family and YOUR kids and lock them away from the rest of us. So ridiculous. Only liberal “elites” as the show says, would fall for this. Us “regular” folks know better. 🙄

To be fair, this Lord you speak of isn't exactly a genius himself. He wasn't happy how his creation turned out, so he genocided the whole planet, except for some drunkard and his family, and thought he could get different results the 2nd time with the exact same DNA. And I guess he doesn't know how rain works, because he thought he could flood the whole planet. Ummm you can't end up with more water than you started with. He also created plants before sunlight so he doesn't understand how photosynthesis works. He thought the moon was it's own light source, when it's actually just reflecting light. He thought the earth was flat and the center of the universe. He doesn't know what stars are. And his cure for leprosy isn't exactly scientifically sound .... just to name a few. I mean that's a lot to get wrong when you're the creator of it all.

If we know, for a fact, that a bear, lion, tiger, mountain lion, etc., has mauled and killed a human being, the first response of authorities is to shoot that animal to death immediately. Yet, when human psychopathic animals kill consecutively, they are incarcerated for a bit and then returnef to society to kill again. Make it make sense. 😮😮😮

I just don't understand the justice system. No early parole for viscous killers should be the law everywhere. A life term should equal -they only leave in a box. The people who advocated for his release are almost just as guilty as him. Disgusting on all levels.

The problem is only in the legal system and the severity of the punishment - the delusional left mistakenly thinks that a person is good from his youth, but this is an illusion that does not exist and cannot exist - especially in a godless society! A person is not moral unless a sword is pointed at his head - therefore the law must be harsh because the law of murder is one - death! Whoever feels sorry for murderers turns out to be guilty of the next murder! It must be understood since man's nature from his youth is bad - he will maintain order only if the price is high - especially in a society that has broken from the absolute divinity and morality presented by God - Let's say that 5% of people are born with evil and a desire to harm - which happens that if the law is weak the 5% will become 30% because there will be 25% who do not fear the punishment and believe that crime pays - and they will make social life intolerable! Thus, as long as the punishment is not a deterrent, the number of criminals will increase - and those who will suffer will always be the weaker populations in society, such as the elderly, children, etc.

All criminals are normal everyday people, until they resort to their criminal behavior. All criminals are insane, but that does not relieve them of their responsibility and guilt. When caught, they deny their guilt, offer exculpatory excuses, express remorse and promise never to do it again, weep, claim reform, and other methods of trying to escape retribution. They should never be trusted, but constantly, their whole life long, watched and under lock and key. Likewise, people, including children, who express psychotic and homicidal desires, pleasures and behaviors.
