The part that really got me was when I saw the David Cassidy posters. I was 17 in 1974, so it really hit close to home. My condolences to her family and friends 😢.

Me too he was a heart throb when I was young. I didn’t really like him as much as the monkees I love that band and the CCR

Why wasn’t Hardy charged with murder once Obryan died from his injuries?

If the first victim died of the injuries, why wasn't the knucklehead charged with murder? U.K. laws are weird.

Yeah, plus he assaulted his brother after? That’s two assaults, one resulting in death and one you might argue was attempted murder to keep his confession quiet. Plus he did a ton of burglaries already and they are just like “eh… but his teeth don’t match though.”

Sadly it probably wouldn’t have mattered. Another episode someone raped and killed a child, was charged with murder, released after 7 years, and went on to murder 4 more people.

As violent as he was that the whole community was afraid of him even his on family he should have been at the top of the suspect list not to mention he should have been back in prison after the death of his friend from the pick ax attack years earlier

When Mr. O'Brian died of injuries, why was not Hardy charged with murder? That's rather an insane justice system in the UK. I thought the US was lenient, but this pales in comparison.👿

To recharge him for the same attack after a conviction was already handed down would have been double jeopardy. Don't you just love bureaucracy?

Umm... How did he not face time for battering his brother? That seems pretty brutal for just a suspended sentence

He beat his own brother, why would he visit him unless he wants to tell him that his place is behind the bars. And question #2: Why you don't give information how was he behind a bars? He was probably member of some racist group because that fits in his profile, but it would be nice to hear that he wasn't able to hurt anyone there and gained no friend...

I'm not as sensitive to his vocal inflections as some folks on this thread, I guess. I don't mind the way he speaks at all.
